The Hyena Chat thread: Everyone's welcome!

We had pizza yesterday, J turned up his nose at the kind I had .. so he made himslef a smaller Jack's pizza (cheapo similar to Tombstone) while Hubby and I indulged in an Archer Farms rising crust Roasted Vegetable.

It had lots of good vegies on top: onion, red and green peppers, black olives, tomato.. and broccoli

The little bits of broccoli on top made me pause, almost didn't buy it. Glad we did though, it was very good! The over browned broccoli bits were bitter.. but the sauce was perfect sweetness to complement the roasted vegies. YUM! Hubby and I had to fight it out over who was going to eat the leftovers the next day :lmao:

My local Super Target had them at $2.99 each, half price. I think they are discontinuing that line of pizza. Hope they make new types.. and just skip the broccoli :thumbsup2

Our Garlic Jims you can order online.. Thank goodness. I wont eat their pizza if I have to call and order. :lmao:

I had two favorite pizzas as a teen: The Hawaiian (Canadian bacon and pineapple) and Veggie. Yum!

Unfortunately my DH and kids look like this when I mention Veggie pizza: :scared:  :crazy2:

But everybody likes the Hawaiian, so I'm good. :rotfl:

OK, I'm gonna go chat with DH about dinner. Be back in a bit...

 YUCK! I hate Hawaiian. But the rest of... THEM will eat it. :lmao: Frelan gets all excited when he gets it. Because I never order it. :lmao:

Mikalah had her first bloody nose yesterday. In fact... I think it was our whole families first bloody nose. It was a DOOZY too. She busted her nose on the ladder on the bed. She just whimpered a bit... Didnt scream, or run to us or anything. Then Alex saw, and freaked out. Mikalah is BLEEDING!! A LOT!!! So Frelan went back to check on her, and he was like... :scared1: OMG!!!! OH NO!! So I jumped up and grabbed some towels.. He brings her out, and she is COVERED in blood. It was all over her face, and all down the front of her, and all running down Frelans arm. :scared1: It was bad.

She cried a little.. Not much. Then I gave her a sucker to distract her from Frelan trying to get it to stop gushing.. and keep her still while we cleaned her up. She had blood between her toes. :sad2: Only my kid.

oh no  Sounds like all of you handled it okay.

It always looks like a ton of blood, glad she handled it well.

J would get nosebleeds at night when he was a youngster, our apt was very dry in the winter (forced air heating) - it was such a pain to wash everything and we scratched our heads trying to figure out how to make it better for him.

I was good... didnt even panic! Very unlike me. Frelan FREAKED out. Again... Very unlike him. He is the calm one. Mikalah is my tough one.. Injuries dont phase her much. Alex is the same way.. Shake it off and move on!

Glad she didnt shake this off.. That woulda been messy. :lmao:

I get a nose bleed everytime I go to Reno. high and Dry. Its MISERABLE there.

WOW. I am reading the thread on grumpy husbands.. and it is just blowing my MIND that people actually LIVE this way. That is NUTS!

I've been looking at freebie websites..

wow, they give a lot of stuff away to new parents, I remember when Target first started doing gift registry they gave out freebies with it.
I got on their mailing list and got coupons for things like free socks and a bib for N.

I know some places give out free cookware when you send in a copy of your bridal registry, wonder if any companies give free stuff for baby registry?

You should look into it :yay: Free is always good!!

:thumbsup2

I have been looking into a lot of stuff.. There are a lot of companies that have special multiples programs. I know I can get free cases of formula, and diapers.. and Discounts through BRU if I buy 2 of things.. Big things, car seats and such.

cool!

I know Pampers has a multiples program. ... But that's about all I know

Just about every store has a registry now, even Amazon.. that blew me away, but I guess it's smart advertising since they do have just about everything a person could need/ want.

I just signed up for Enfamil.. There is a whole list of stuff over on the twins forum I go to.

Sooo... What did you have for dinner? nothing as delicious as what we had, Im sure. :lmao:
