I noticed that the girls look way more grown up this year. and yes! Very hip. I gotta say, I wish i had a bunch of sisters to do hair and stuff with.
But I guess they're not any different than other parents, we all want the kids to do things smarter than we did. I think I would have gone out of my mind with 6 at one time.
And Michelle dated "a lot".
Although I do like the Jon & Kate +8 show, I think the Duggar's are a lot better parents. Although we're probably more like Jon & Kate!
Yeah, can you just imagine her calling him that? I think she would be a lovely lady if they gave her some prozac.
The only thing I really don't like with the show is how Michelle calls him Daddy. I know some women do that, but it just weirds me out. I noticed some of the recipe's are called Daddy's Favorite whatever. Now I have no problem telling the kids...go ask Dad. But when I talk to other people I call him by his name...or DH!

i sure cant! But I can imagine her calling him a whole bunch of other not so nice names. We do it with the kids.. we never use each others first names though. I dont remember the last time he called me Megan. Its always hon, babe, big ole fat pregnant lady..
Now there would be a great show...Wife Swap...send Jon & Kate to the Duggar household for 2 weeks and send Jim Bob & Michelle to the Gosselin household for 2 weeks.
I think Jim Bob would be FLOORED by Kate. Either he would put the smack down, or she would. My money is on her though.

There was a DIS thread a week or two ago, asking Southerners if they really called the male head of the household "Big Daddy", like they did in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Some folks said they did indeed.Yeah, we do it with the kids. But for some reason I couldn't look at a tv camera and refer to DH as Daddy. For me that just seems like something I would call my Dad, not my DH. Yeah, I know I have issues!
