The Hyena Chat thread: Everyone's welcome!

I love these giant recliners, we got two of them a couple of years ago for the family room. My sister liked them and wanted to get some, but they couldn't find any in Florida. Everybody that comes to our house loves them, they are really comfy.
:thumbsup2

We had never seen them until just a couple of days ago.. I might have to check them out. :thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Ill bet I could take him. ;) But he could probably outrun me. THAT would be a shame. :rotfl2: Heck... MY husband is scared of me right right now. If I could tie my own shoes... Ill bet he would move out for the duration. :lmao:
I'm laughing about it, but he was actually worried it would hurt your feelings. He's a real softie with the ladies. Good lord, you should see him with little girls. Or little old ladies, OH MY! He flirts shamelessly with them, and gets them to laugh, and they tell him what a sweet boy he is. It almost makes me gag. :rotfl2:

But it's genuine, he's not being phony. He just loves making them smile. :lovestruc

I know, I don't think I'd ever seen one like that before! Is it a new trend?

I have a chair ( not a recliner) that has a wider seat like that, as part of my living room set. I'm not sure it's quite that wide... and I'm quite a bit wider than when we bought it... :lmao:

Im not a particularly sensitive soul.. Of course... I dont know how I will feel in the next few months... Ill probably just get meaner. :lmao:

We have this ridiculous set of furniture in our family room. There's the recliner, a couch which has "recliners" at either end (the middle seat is stationary, except the back folds forward to reveal a flat surface with cupholders :lmao: ). And the loveseat is a double-recliner. If we have all the recliners open, you can't even walk through the room because of the coffee table and the footrests. :lmao:

Wow, Sam! I thought my recliner was large, but I guess the technical term is "overstuffed". Yours is very wide!

It's true, the kids do always climb in to sit with me. Even DS8, which kind of surprises me when it happens. He's much less snuggly these days, unless he's sleepy or hurt or scared. ;)

We've had these for about 4 years now, so they've been around for a bit. They are nice because you can fit 1 adult and 1 kid in them. But they are also comfy to lay in sideways and dangle your legs over the arm of the chair. Of course it fits me and the laptop nicely.:lmao:

:lmao: OMG.. That cracks me up!

I told him you'd think it was funny, and he didn't believe me. "She's PREGNANT! She will NOT think it's funny!" He worried you'd think he was being a jerk, but he's just reflexively funny. He kills me, even when he hits a nerve sometimes. :lmao:

Think I'm headed to bed, goodnight ladies. Happy Dreams!:cloud9:

Oh geesh.. I am wiped. I need to get to bed to. I hav eto go to the grocery store tomorrow. YIPPY. :headache: Plus.. I dont think I am making sense any more. :lmao: :lmao:

GEESH! I just looked at the clock and it's 11:45!!!

I need to get to bed, too. Good night! I'm wishing you... clean, dry panties! :rotfl: :cloud9:

Good Morning Hyenas:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Had a good nights sleep, belly is filled with blueberry pancakes, life is good!:thumbsup2

Good morning, hyenas!
It is raining, raining, raining! :umbrella:

Usually I'm the one sleeping in on a Saturday morning, but I must have gotten a pretty good night's sleep last night! :thumbsup2

I offered to make the morning Starbucks run, and DH was happy to let me. ;)
I stopped by my friend's house to return a book she let me borrow (Eclipse, book # 3 of the Twilight series) and we chatted a bit.

Sam, blueberry pancakes sounds wonderful! :lovestruc
Now I'm starving! :lmao:

Guess I'll go toast up an English muffin for breakfast, to enjoy with my lovely, velvety mocha. :cloud9:

I have no clothes left to wear.. so I'm sitting here in my PJ pants and a NMBC Sally shirt.. wearing the underwear I don't really like.

I have
A
B and
C underwear

"A" the most comfortable and the newest so it looks perfect.
"B" not quite as comfy, starting to wear out but in circulation because I don't have enough "A" underwear
"C" the ones I bought for almost free after coupon at Lane Bryant, they are cheeky style.. as in my butt cheek slides out. They are the OMG I really need to do laundry now! underwear.

Not to mention that they have words across the back.. hubby loves reading my butt as he follows me up/down the stairs. :headache:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Well that sounds familiar. Why is it I have about 50 pair of underwear (and why do they call them "pair" anyway...but I digress), yet only about 4 pair are actually comfortable? :rotfl2:

I kind of have a headache today (hormonal related) I'm sure. Guess I need to go take a Tylenol. DH is supposed to be back to spend the night and take DS racing tomorrow.

DD and her friends have spent the entire morning getting ready to go to the mall and still aren't ready!:lmao:

We've actually had fairly nice weather while Seattle has been getting massive amounts of rain. It was raining earlier, but seems to have stopped for a bit.
