The Hyena Chat thread: Everyone's welcome!

I was just changing the channel on the TV, and QVC has Disney jewelry! So cute!!!

Every once in a while they have that show on. I love it! I always want to get something for Mikalah. But ALAS... She is too young.

Diamonique Mickey head tennis bracelet, cute.

They flashed briefly a pendant with Tinkerbell on it, and I think another style, but I didn't catch what it was.

They have all that stuff on their web site too. ;)

:lmao: That link is to cashmere shawls. :lmao: For kids? Really? Sorry. That made me chuckle.

There is a thread on Ikea... and the food there. Would it be wrong of me to pack up my kids and drive all the way to Renton to have some meatballs? :lmao:
Shawls??? How weird, I didn't see shawls. I did a search on "Disney", and pasted the link into here. Strange!

Oops, time to get the boy. I suppose DS4 is finally asleep now... :headache:

Later!

Milk doesnt bother me, except it tastes like crap, and I never drink it.

Try organic.. mmmmmmmmmmmm. It tastes totally different from the cheapo variety at the grocery store.

But don't let your kids get hooked on it, they will clamor for the good kind of milk as my boys say . And it's pricey stuff :scared: Though it is MUCH better for you to have organic dairy, free of hormones and anti-biotics :thumbsup2

Hey, has anyone seen Gina around lately? I hope everything's OK and she's just busy with school or whatever...

I have. I dont know if it is the taste.. Or just knowing where it comes from that creeps me out so bad. OR.... the memory of my parents making me sit there and drink nasty warm milk at dinner... until it was all gone. YUCK. I hate milk.

:lmao: :lmao: That makes me laugh. I can throw down a steak like no ones business.. But milk creeps me out. :rotfl2:

Oh gosh, I love milk. I always have. Especially with cookies or cake or some other sweet treat, it helps cut the sugar somehow.

My parents used to have 2%, so that's what I always drank. We had whole milk for the boys when they were in the 2nd year, good for brain development. Then switched them to 2% in their 2nd or 3rd year. When DH had his first heart incident, he and I switched to nonfat while we still got 2% for the boys. Finally I realized (only like a year ago!) that it was nuts to keep buying the two kinds, the boys get plenty of fat from cheese and yogurt and other products, and they don't notice the difference in nonfat milk AT ALL! :rotfl:

I was thinking about her the other day..
I was thinking I'd seen her a few days ago on Shawna's pre-trip report, but I'm not sure...

OMG, we are laughing so hard! DS8 is playing Mario Super Sluggers, and his big gorilla guy (the one from Donkey Kong) was playing catcher, and when he got the ball thrown to him at home and a girl character was running home, he FLATTENED HER! Ran OVER her!!! :scared1: :rotfl2:

I was talking to my sister, and she said that she thought my mom bought the grossest milk.. Whole milk. :confused3 I have NEVER seen my mom buy whole milk, in my LIFE. But... whatever. My sister is always insisting that I would LOVE milk, if I just tried skim. NO THANKS. Its just tastes like watery milk to me!:lmao: We buy 2%, and if I let everyone have free reign on the stuff, we would go through a gallon a day.

I took the kids to Applebees tonight for dinner... and I ordered for myself... got something for the hubby for take out. Then I closed the menu, and just kinda sat there. I was forgetting something, but had no idea WHAT. The waitress looked at me, and said... and anything for the kids???:scared1: :scared1: I had FORGOTTEN MY CHILDREN!!! :lmao: :lmao: Alex is sitting next to me, mikalah across from me... and I had TOTALLY forgotten about them!:lmao: UMMMMM... YEAH! They need to eat to. :lmao: The waitress was ROLLING. I sat there for a minute just staring at the kids like this.

I need to stay home from now on. :lmao: Luckily I didnt forget them at home!:lmao:
