Day 15

Today is going home day, so we get up and ready and head to DTD by taxi for the virgin check in. we get there at 8.am and are first in the queue, we are all checked in by 8.30am and try to find away back to the resort as DTD does not open till 9.30am there is not any buses going to the resorts, however a lovely bus driver asks us where we are going and we say any resort as we want to get to epcot, she offers to drop us of at POR even though she was not going there to do a pick up. We get to POR just as an epcot bus pulls in, great timeing. Our first stop is Test Track and we have no wait, when we get of the ride we notice that people in the queue had been given dream passes. We then go on Soarin which had a 20minute wait however it seemed to be quicker. DD than wanted to watch the Lion King show so we do. We are now very hungry so we got to France to get bag gets and pastries and then it is time to leave epcot,

I stop at the photo centre and buy my Photo pass CD and DD buys a print of her and Stitch on Dumbo before we head to POR to wait for the magical express. We get some drinks and crisps from the food court with the snack credits we have left and then we sit outside while DD tries to touch butterflies.
At 2.30pm we get the bus to the Airport, at the Airport we get a star buck’s coffee, look around the shops and take photos before heading through security

. The flight leaves on time and on the way back me and DD watch surfs up, while my mum watched something that scared the life out of my DD who was sat next to her, so she had to turn it over, apparently it was an 18 film, I don’t know what it was called though. DD falls asleep pretty quickly and is lying with her head on my knee, I have an extremely uncomrtable flight back, and can’t wait to get of the plane. We land an hour early and we are back home by 8.00am.

I have now booked next years trip which will be just me and DD, I am really looking forward to beable to do what we want without having to worry about someone else being happy. If we want to queue up for 30minutes to meet Mickey we can!

I do understand what you are saying when we took MIL and FIL in 2004 (they joined us the first week of our holiday) I was glad when they did go home and we enjoyed the rest of our holiday,we wanted to make sure they enjoyed every little bit but at times it's hard to make other's happy.ifygwim?

Will you consider going to universal studios or seaworld next year?

Hope you have a great time planning. Your ADRS were great this year. Where are you staying next year?

I hope to get to sea world and US next year, I did plan to go this year however did not make it, I had booked the boardwalk Inn however I switched to Beach Club as it looked more fun for DD with the pool and sand. I am really excited that I get to plan all over again.

Great reports Claire, thanks for sharing.
