Magic Kingdom Sept. 12
It was up and at em today. We had to be out of the door by 7:15.

Wow! That is early for vacation if you ask me! Let me tell yall that I am not a morning person. I do much better on a stay up late - sleep late schedule. Once we had children though, I had to change and I think I have done an excellent job
my DH will probably disagree with that but
.that is another story for another time. Anyway we were up and going this morning.
I have to digress a bit and fill you in on something. We are going to be celebrating my birthday

today but today is not my birthday. My DH b-day is 7/26 and DS is 7/27 and mine is 8/1. As you see they are within 5 days of each other and by the time mine rolls around no one is interested in celebrating another b-day or having another cake or buying more presents. I am sorry but I want my own cake! I have told them for a few years I wanted to move mine but no one seems to hear that either. Just to complicate matters a little more school is starting on 8/1 and well, I hate that. I really hate the first day of school. It is lonely after having my kids home all summer. Not to mention the fact that I must wake up a 6am on my b-day. So since I knew the secret, that we would be at WDW on 9/12, I said, I want to celebrate my b-day on 9/12. Everyone said OK and so here we are at Sept.12 my official, unofficial birthday. There is no where I would like to do that more than at WDW and the Crystal Palace with Pooh and his friends and my family. Like a little slice of heaven right here on earth.

I am a huge Pooh fan and have been ever since DS was about 2. We loved to watch the Pooh videos and I just fell in love with whole 100 Acre Wood Gang. I think the whole lot of them have just the most unique and wonderful personalities. Dont you?
DD and DS waiting for the bus...again!
We rush out the door and down to the bus stop. We wait and wait and wait
my gosh that bus is slow. I am starting to stress because I did not want to be late and I really, really, really wanted to get inside the MK and be on Main St. without a bunch of other people. I have this idea that I will be able to take fabulous pics of my family without other folks running around in the background. I also thought we would be able to stroll around a minute or two, feeling like we were alone in the MK.. As you will learn these are mere fantasies
The bus finally came and by this time the queue is filled to capacity. I am thinking we are barely going to make it on time and possibly be late. Oh NO!!!! Once at the MK we walk very quickly and make it to the gate by 8 am. There is barely time to snap a quick picture and besides
.There is a CRANE at the castle.

Oh well it wasnt meant to be. No perfect setting, no perfect picture. We arrive at the Crystal Palace just a few minutes late and we were asked to wait.
Notice the crane over the middle section of the castle.
Within 5 minutes or so we were called to be seated and what should I see at our table? Streamers and Mickey confetti!!. My DD calls it Pixie Dust!

I cannot believe that they know it is my unB-day and they decorated the table for me
I feel so special and excited. This is our first character breakfast ever and it was fantastic. We all found the food to be fabulous. Everything was quite delicious. I really enjoyed the breakfast lasagna and the puffed French toast. YUMMY As I type this, I have a rumbly in my tumbly. I wish I could transport myself back there right this instant.

My kids loved the waffles and the chocolate chip mickey head pancakes. The bacon, eggs and potatoes were very good too. And yes, my DH really enjoyed everything also and I do mean everything. No offense dear.
DS really loved the chocolate corrsaints
See the CM in the background? He was the one who asked if I was 50? I have forgot all about it though. Really I have.
Linda was our waitress and she was just great. She was very friendly and personable. She surprised me with a cupcake and a card signed by everyone.

This one man who worked there asked me if I was celebrating my 50th!!!! I said, Excuse me???
50!!??? I told him, No!!! Are you kidding me? I asked my DH did you hear that guy and of course, with a smile he said yes. My family thought the whole thing was quite funny
I am not laughing but I got over it
eventually.
My un-B-day cupcake
.
The character interaction is great here. If you love Pooh, (and who doesnt) you must give it a try. All of the characters came around for autographs and pictures. Linda took a group picture for me as a special way to remember the day. Thanks Linda!!!
Last fall we had dinner here and both times it was really good. Personally, I liked breakfast best. The restaurant is beautiful too!
The atrium located at the entrance.
DD taking a break in the ladies lounge.
We left feeling happy, content and with full tummies. Now it is on to ride some rides and look for the infamous Captn Jack.

That was my mission
never knowing it would be so difficult!
Up next: Where in the world is Captn Jack and was that Trash Can talking to me?
