Me(l)
I've been a lurker/nonDISer for a long,
long,
LONG time on the TR boards. Long enough to have read a lot of the Endless trip reports. And Overdue ones. And to have lost my purse. Four times. And to be able to appreciate your love/hate relationship with the Return Key. Long enough to remember when the HappyHaunt report that apparently is now serving 10-20 in Lockdown was new!? Which means that by the time it makes parole it should be right on track in terms of timliness of installments.
It's a pity. I think I remember that I was enjoying that one...
Anyway, having FINALLY joined and FINALLY found this trippie, I decided I'd better subscribe 23 pages in!!! So, quickly, I had to comment on the following:
Me(l): I didn't want him to look back at two weeks in The World and compare it to two weeks at Build a Bear.

I think, so far, this is one of my favorite lines.
Me(l): That's how Mellyman suffers from stress. He gets an itchy arm.
The fact that I can
seriously relate to this both comforts and scares me. I think.
Me(l): And Mellyman scratched at his right arm with the intensity of Gollum with the Ring.
But looks NOTHING like Gollum with the Ring. Thank goodness. You and your bride look like a very happy couple.
I'm also making a mental note that if, for next year's tentative trip, I decide to stay at the WL, to ask for a DOWNGRADE. Now that I see what asking for an upgrade will get you.
ZZUB: This was funnier than a spinal tap.
There is nothing UN-FUNNIER than a spinal tap. Unless we're talking about an inept ER doctor who tried said spinal tap FIVE TIMES (with no success) before I about shouted at HIS shoes. Sorry, a bit OT but I was immediately transported back to that moment when I read that.
Me(l), not only is your likely-eternally-unfinished trippie hilarious, but it also eases the pain of knowing I won't be back in the World for at least 13 months (if not longer). It's a great read to pass the time...especially since by then I figure we'll be on Chapter 59, Day 3.
I only hope that when the time comes for me to (finally!) write a trippie, it's even half as funny as yours.
Thanks for all of the laughs!
