I don't think going back to that would be a good idea... there would me more fighting, more war, territory problems, culture issues, etc. Though being closer would be easier for traveling.

Avatar coming to Animal Kingdom was on the news this morning and everyone was talking about it during first period.

Disney's not having much of a good week for announcing changes to the parks...

First they announce Avatarland, and the Internet starts whining. Then they announce that they're changing the names of the parking lot areas in Magic Kingdom (it'll be split into heroes and villains). Pretty much everyone hates the idea on the Disney blog.

What annoys me about the heroes and villains change is that they didn't use Maleficent!

Woody, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Simba, Mulan and Rapunzel (Heroes lot), and Zurg, Jafar, Hook, Scar, Cruella and Ursula (Villains lot)

Buzz should be in place of Woody. Or Maleficent should be in place of Zurg...

I would much rather have had the Beastly Kingdom/Mysterious Island hybrid, but I can see why Disney took this route. Avatar was a very successful movie, and every new attraction seems to have a movie tie-in nowadays.
