Well you shouldn't warm a bottle up in a microwave. That could cause the bottle to explode or burn the babies mouth (I'm sure you know this though).... The best way I found was to get a cup of hot water and set the bottle in there until it warms up a bit, which isn't too long.

OMGosh...I can't believe that in 10 days we are checking back into POP. This time with a 1 year old. I must be nuts for doing the 20 hour plus drive to want to take her there.

Anyways...can anyone remember what time the food court closes at cause I need to warm up a bottle of milk for the baby's last call late at night in the microwave before they close. I wonder if I was extreamly stuck at 2 in the morning if the front desk could warm it up for me in the staff microwave.

Thanks for your help....
Lannah

Another option would be to purchase a bottle warmer. They run around $17.

I never say that she was drinking that bottle. I always mix it with her formula which is cold, then it becomes luke warm. Please don't jump to conclusions and assume that I do this.
Thanks for your advice anyways.

When you purchase something in the parks and have it sent to your resort it goes to the gift shop at your resort. You have to take your receipt to pick it up (typically after 2pm the next day.)

My daughter and friends just returned after a week at Pop. They stayed in the 60's.

They went by boat to the Trails End (Fort Wilderness) for dinner after the Luau was cancelled due to lightning and heavy rain. When they returned to the Magic Kingdom to get the bus back to Pop, a Dream Team member asked if they wanted a ride. They were offered a bus anywhere they wanted to go. Since it was pouring rain and after 12pm they accepted. They had a whole bus for the 5 of them.

you could also bring along a small kettle or get one at walmart (7.95 and cheaper than a bottle warmer), then when you wanted to heat up water just pour the hot water into a container and leave the bottle for 30 seconds or so it should be warm enough

Just to let you know, that even though the actual food court closes, the building does not "lock up" I have popped microwave Popcorn at the All-Stars food court at 3:00 in the morning. (Don't know where the microwave is at Pop, but I think you can still get in there.)

Oh, poor kid! I will say a prayer for a speedy recovery for her.

Really....That is a great tip. I might have to ask up on that one. You would think that there would be one microwave that is available to the guests at all hours of the day. But then again that's why we are paying vaule rates.;)

Thanks for your help. I appriciate it.

Hello

I'm sure this question has been answered many a time before, but since i don't want to go throu nearly 300 pages ,and the serach function doesn't work, i thought it would be quicker and easier to ask.

Can anyone please tell me exactly where the laundry rooms are at Pop and what time they openand close.
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about the hours, but I did laundry in the 50's section by the bowling pin pool. Grab a frozen coke and sit poolside while your clothes dry- not bad for laundry day!:thumbsup2 Not sure if there are others in other sections.

There is also a laundry room by the computer pool in front of the 90's building. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they may be open 24 hours.

there is also one in 60's section between Petal's and the pool. :goodvibes

I was just going to check about the laundry rooms, thanks! Not that I want to do laundry, ha ha. Are the laundry rooms air conditioned and is there seating? I might like to knit while I am waiting and I can't knit wool in 90? +weather.

On another note if there are any (especially November) people that want in a fridge swap we have lots of dates open (click the link in my siggy) and it is a brand new fridge.

No seating. Very tiny.

I don't remember there being any seating but it was air conditioned. We also used the one by the 50's pool.

I am going with the preferred rooms I think as we have a baby and won't want to walk as far. Can I still request a location? We would really like first floor as close as possible to the food court. I know they are requests only but am I likely to get this? Also what is the best way to make requests? Is faxing still the way to go? Oh and if so what is the fax number?
