English Rose, you get two TV's and two bathrooms with two single rooms and that is priceless. Also the Suites seem to have those dreaded sofabeds which are uncomfortable as heck. Good idea but poorly executed as far as I have read. Unless things have changed and I am not aware of it.

Slightly Goofy

I ordered water from netgrocer about a week and half before checking in. It was there in 3 days. The Pop staff can hold your packages for up to two weeks but I didn't want to push it.

I sent a huge box down and used UPS. I liked that I could track it online. Both shipments should have whoever's name that is on the reservation. So if the reservation is in her name even though your listed on it, I'd use her name to be on the safe side. That way they know who to hold it for. Also note your check in date on both shipments.
Can you just order water ? How much did it cost including shipping??

You can order anything non-perishible from Netgrocer. We ordered 3 six packs of Nestle brand water and a 12 pack of diet vanilla Pepsi for $23.33 which included shipping. We didn't have a fridge, so each nite we filled up the ice bucket and stuck in 2-3 waters.

Has Pop refurbished any buildings lately? When we stayed at ASSports last year, they were painting, replacing bedding, etc. Just wondering if Pop has done the same or if it is necessary? TIA

That is good to know as I think gardengrocer has a minimum order! We hope to have a free fridge, but about all I think we really need is water and milk! Do you have a link to netgrocer ??

I thought I remembered reading once that POP's rooms have motion sensing A/Cs. Is this true? Will I need a balloon or fan to keep motion in the room?

We never did. In fact, the room was always too cold when we got back from the parks. The mousekeeper must have been turning it up.

I have heard reports about this happening, but either it's not every room, or it has been changed, as neither of our Pop stays (8/05 & 9/07) had this problem.

We didn't have a problem either in May of 2008

The rooms are barely 5 years old, and I haven't heard of any widespread internal updating. But the exterior seems to get frequent painting.

I am sure they update bedding and what not as it gets worn out. :confused3

Good tip on the ice bucket! :thumbsup2

You can also order from Costco.com & have delivered to Pop (you don't have to be a member). Two 24 packs are under $15 delivered. Here's the link: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...=0&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nty=1&topnav=&s=1

We've driven in the past but are flying in September. When should I order my water from COSTCO (is a week before check-in sufficent?) I will also be sending a small box...when and how should it be mailed (USPS, UPS, FedX????) My friend made the reservations but my name should be listed on the room also...does it matter whose name its sent under???
Thanks for your advice!

By the time you paid shipping on the milk, you may as well spend the $3 for a half gallon at the Food Court. They do have a pretty good variety of stuff.

That's kinda what I figured plus we can get milk or chocolate milk with ameal as we will have refillablemugs !
