Thank you both :thumbsup2.

Do you think i should ring today, although i leave this Sat,i don't arrive at POP until April 9th-my daughters birthday :yay:.x.

Yes, I'd call today. There's also a website where you can type in a message and it sends a fax. I'll go look for it. I used it last year.

Will it be horribly loud if we stay 2nd or 3rd floor overlooking the Hippy Dippy Pool?

Are the pools 24 hours? I've seen conflicting info on this.

I was under the impression that you couldn't do this anymore because they've gone to an automated system. I even read that any requests made when making the original resv are now overlooked as well because it's a computer, not a human, assigning the rooms. And that you can't expect any request being honored until check in (with a human) where you actually ask for a specific location. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. (And I do hope I'm wrong!) :confused3

I don't know about POP but when we stayed at ASMO facing the pool it was way to much for me. So I try to avoid any room facing the pool. I always request 60's facing the lake. Love it there.

I noticed the computer pool said it was open 24 hrs a day, not sure about Hippity, this was 2 weeks ago

From post #1:
Beds are on permanent pedestals, so they cannot be moved nor will items get lost under the bed.
This is just not true. Ask Woody. My nephew's most cherished possession apparently fell between the backboard and bed and was lost. At least until the awesome mousekeepers found it 2 weeks later, figured out whose it was (said Glancy on the boot of course) and sent Woody home. But some small items could disappear forever if not marked.

My first stay at Pop was in the 60's building, 4th floor up above the main pool. And it was LOUD, way too loud for me until way too late into the night.

I would not choose to be near the pool.

All the pools are open 24 hours. The lifeguards go off duty at 10:00pm (may change with the season) - but people are free to swim at all hours..and they do.;) - I have never stayed in a room facing the pool, nor would I want to. In the summer we have come back from the Parks well after midnight and those pools are as crowded and *lively* as they are at 2:00 in the afternoon.

As of January there was usually 1 pool that is 24hrs and it rotated. The other pools had "quite hours" meaning closed.

Maybe it is a seasonal thing?:confused3 When we were there in June and August all pools were open and in full swing at all hours. Didn't check in Dec. because it was too cold to swim anyway. :santa:

I hope it's the same way in May. I love taking a dip after a long day in the parks.

Just got booked in the POP for September. We've tried all the All-Star resorts and thought we'd give this one a try. We arent much for the expensive hotels, and like these better. It looks great. Is there anything different from the All-Stars that we should know. I did find out about the transportation. You have a bus that goes right to the hotel instead of making drop offs at each of the others. Thats pretty good at the end of a long day.

Here's the fax website that I used (I think) http://www.gotfreefax.com/

Thank you for the fax information, but by the time i had came back on this thread and read your post i had already rang.x. :goodvibes

Ok,this may seem like a silly question, but in the food court do they or would they sell to me the little packets/tubs of jam, cream cheese?.

What time do the buses start running at POP to go to the theme parks, and aprox how long would you say it takes to get to each of the 4 main parks?.Thanks very much.x.

That don't make alot of sense to me. I just call the reservation line and they add it when I call. You should be able to call your TA or the number you booked threw to get this added to your reservation.

Maybe i have to call back because i don't check into POP until April 9th(even though i am flying April 2nd),CM told me that they are only taking requests 10 days from check in :confused3.x.

Weird, I called last week (or maybe even the week before) and put in a request for the 60s building. I have 4 kids 7 years old and under so my rationale was to be close to the hippy dippy pool as there is also a kiddy pool there. They had no problem putting the request in. Its not guaranteed but at least the preference is noted. The CM was super crazy nice!
