With ME it can go both ways to be honest. It says 3hrs on the brochure (thats when 97% of the bags will arrive at the hotel) it can really take 3-5hrs, of course thats if your airline has your luggage, lol. There is also the rare occasion were it will be in your room within 2hrs. The part that most people miss is that is 3hrs after you arrive at the resort not 3 hrs after landing.
The weather at the airport also affects delivery specially lightning.

Well, only stayed at Pop once...this December. And ME went to CBR, then Pop and I know it had at least one more stop after Pop...maybe 2 more.

I always pack a carryon with a change of clothes, swimsuit and deodorant and toothpaste and brush, that way I know I am set for the day !!It is sooo much easier than struggling with all your luggage !!

Myself and my DS17 have stayed at POP 4 times, once in the 60's and the three other times have been the 50's.

My DS17 says we need to check out the other side and by that he means the 80's and 90's.

I would love to hear everybody's thoughts on this section. oh yea I was thinking of asking for the 90's section bottom floor facing the pool.

We stayed in the 90's last time we were there and we loved it! Quick walk across the parking lot to get to the busses. It seemed MUCH quicker than the room we were in in the 50's the time previous!

And thank you, pp's, for reminding me it's 3 hours from check in vs landing. I will have to back jammies in the carryons...we get in at 715 on Saturday night. So checkin won't be until closer to 9. My kids will want their jammies quicker than that!

Just have to post that I'm booking another solo trip at Pop. Going to do the half marathon next January. Any excuse to get to stay at Pop, right?

Just booked!!!! So excited to go back to POP We were thinking of early December & then had it narrowed down to 12/3-12/10 or 12/10-12/17. Well, last night I got a PIN for 35% off and had to book We ended up with 12/11-12/18 since all the other days were blacked out.

I think it used to be always first, but not I hear usually 1 stop before hand.

I honestly don't think we missed it...I think they messed up. The guy that checked me in for my flight at the desk they have outside didn't say anything about the bus having already left...and that desk opens at 5AM. Only thing he said when I told him I was waiting for a 5:15 bus is that it was probably running a bit late. I think he would have told me if it had come and gone. And the other people that showed up shortly after I did, were waiting for a 5:45 bus (but she said her info was wrong and she was told it should have been 5:15). Anyway...5:45 didn't show up til almost 6, so I just think they messed up. Maybe there just aren't that many people on early AM busses...I certainly don't see them having both a 5:15 and a 5:45 AM bus...just not enough people that early to fill 2 busses within 30 minutes. They didn't stop anywhere else to pick up anyone...just a big bus with 5 people on it. I just think they messed up, but will never really know.

When we were there in 2009 we actually got on a bus that came 30 minutes before the one we were scheduled for. They told us they were scheduled every 30 minutes (might've been jus that time of year) and they had plenty of room so we could get on that one. I wasn't ready, but DH said yes. I was actually in the bathroom and DH kept calling me and telling me to hurry because they already loaded our luggage.

We go back to POP twice this year August 20-29 and again for Thanksgiving. OMG we haven't done late summer in forever, I may have forgotten any trauma, still soooo excited!! For an 8 day base ticket should I get the waterpark add on in August? How practical is it to split up the day and come back to go to the waterpark in the early afternoon, it seems like you miss prime park time!? Enlighten this fall only girl please about the practicality of this.... thank you so much..still SO EXCITED!!!

I guess it depneds on if you are going to go to the WP more than once. For us we only do TL since I love the new crusher gusher but we only go once. So it is cheaper for me to just buy a one day than do the add on. Since we don't really do DQ or anything else. Or do you want to just hang out at POP and use the pool there.

Hi ya neighbor, Everett mickey lover here....I would get the water park, its goingto be really hot and humid in august, or to save the mone go back to swim in afternoons! unless you can stand the weather conditions!

Anyone think that the toasters at POP are a joke????? We were at POP 12-2-thru 12-9 and after two days "trying" to toast a bagel I/we gave up. My husband and I were at POP in 2009 and had NO problems with the toaster. It was the conveyor belt sort of toaster. They have switched over now to the typical toaster you find at home (although I bet its commercial) but I couldn't get anything to toast (maybe itn was ME). The lines to use them were long too. I know this probably is a stupid comment on my part but I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced any of the problems I had. Yes, I did send a letter to Disney and yes I did get a response thanking me for my input. I'm going back to POP at the end of the month so I'll see what kind of toaster is available now.

seems like all hotel toaster are the same, I just toast it a couple of times and make sure the dial is turned to the highest number!

We're going the same week as you in Aug.

We do get WP&F but we make sure to visit the water parks at least twice, and best case three times, to make it worth it. On our last visit in September we went to TL twice and BB once. What we do is we make sure to get to the water park first thing when they open to maximize the day, plus like the theme parks the shortest or no lines for slides is right when they open.

In two visits we spent the morning at a water park, ate lunch there, then returned to Pop before heading to a theme park. In one visit we spent the morning at TL, returned a little earlier for lunch at Pop, then went to a theme park. Yes, you spend less time at theme parks on those days, but the water parks are great on their own and the water is so refreshing.

In August, I expect the water parks will open at 9am instead of 10am in September, to give us more time in the morning, that will make the logistics even better.
