I have a question about the lockers that are in the restroom/shower area of the pools. I looked at the picture on the first page but I can't gauge how large they are. We will be dropping our main luggage off at RAC in the AM and then probably will hit the pool for a bit before catching the ME bus around 2. I will have our carry-on bags. Will they fit in the lockers? A duffle bag and backpack?

Also how much are they? It says coin operated and I know I'll have to go break some bills to get coins!

That's a great idea to wipe out the drawers. I will be doing that from now on!

We kept our dirty laundry in a plastic garbage bag we brought with us and put on the floor in the closet area. Then we just tie the bag and in the suitcase it goes - packing is a breeze that way!

When we plan to do laundry we use one of the flat folding mesh laundry hampers - lightweight and easy to pack, but also useful for toting laundry to the laundromat.

We are planning to bring 1 or 2 king size pillow cases to use as laundry bags to store the dirtys and tote them to the washers. They'll be very easy to pack.

You can leave your carry ons with the luggage check people and come back for it. We do this on the last day. Check the bag going to the airport, then check the 2 carry ons at the same place and they hold them for you.

someone puts dirty clothers where people put clean clothes.:confused3
. We've always kept clean things in our luggage and dirty in drawers because I always assume things in hotels are dirtier than they appear. I don't even like walking barefoot in hotel rooms...

As I recall, the lockers are not huge, so you should have Bell Services store your carry-ons. You can access it as many times as you want before you leave for the airport, and they are very nice about it.

Anybody know how much the lockers cost? Even if I leave my carry ons with bell services I will want to bring a few things so I can freshen up before heading to the airport. Thanks!

If you look for "Petals Poolside Bar"* in the "Food/Dining" section of either Post #1 or #2, there's a link to the drink menu, and that menu includes non-alcoholic beverages.

* Search easily by pressing [Ctrl]+[F], then type "Petals" for the search.

never thought about that before, good idea.:yay:

Is there lotion in the rooms? I know they have the shampoo/conditioner combo and bar soap, but is there lotion? Thanks!

And that's why I always take clorox or similar wipes in my carry on so I can wipe out drawers before unpacking.

Ugh, I will too from now on. It never occurred to me someone would put DIRTY clothes into the drawers. :confused3

I always take either a pop-up hamper or a plastic bag for dirty clothes.

So is there only one bar of soap? We would use that for hand washing, is there one to use in the shower?
