Yeah I saw that one...I PM'd him about a week ago and he hasn't responded back, so I don't know if he still gets on here or if he doesn't have it anymore. Thanks though.

The Pop drink I want the recipe for is the Mango Mint Mojito I got at Petals last summer.

We spent nine nights at Pop last August/September and ended every night with a nightcap at Petals. I tried the Hula Hoop, the Lava Lamp and I don't know what else, but the fourth or fifth night into the trip, I discovered the Mango Mint Mojito. What a delicious drink! Light and refreshing; fruity but not too sweet. I had at least one every night of our stay after that. :drinking1

Sounds good...I will have to try that the next time I am there. Or if you get the recipe for it go ahead and share it with us.:thumbsup2

Stupid question but what is a fridge swap and how does it work? We will be at POP in 3 weeks and are interested in renting one but if this is do-able why not?

Okay my gal came thru !! She got this infofrom her friend who works the back desk!!! There are some preferred rooms in Bldg 6 on the first floor they face Bldg 10 across the courtyard !! Also room updates will be complete by the end of the year . She suggests asking for a renovated room till that happens and says the new rooms are very nice !!!

It may be to late to get in on one but checkout the Budget board !! A Swap is where at some point a few people all chipped in and bought a fridge usually only costs about $10 each and I believe WalMart delivers them could be wrong on that though !! After the people who paid have their weeks on a list it is offered for FREE thru the swap !! The fridge is stored in Luggage for the next person who picks it up and when done puts it back in luggage for the next person !! The threads themselves will have more details !! Go check those swaps and save yourself some money!!:)

Thank you so much for checking this out.....I really would like a renovated room in August....here is what I requested....80's ground floor (DD5 has anexity seriously scared of heights but we are working on it), close to parking. Are there any rooms in the above area/ground floor already renovated?

She didn't say which ones were complete, just ask for a renovated room !!If ground floor is most important I would put that first and then 80's renovated !!! But I don't know which bldgs are scheduled for renovation and when !!! I heard the 70's was being done in Feb , but no more news on which bldgs !!! I will ask my gal if she knows though !!

Aww...that's very sweet of you to check... I won't worry much about it...ground floor at the moment is most important the referb would just be a plus

Those of you who have been to POP a few times- can you remember what order the bus goes in when it goes to Typhoon Lagoon/DTD and also the bus for AK/BB?

I want to plan some days to go to both and wanted to know where it would take me first and second. If I planned backwards I'm afraid we would get stuck on the bus over and hour doing the TL/DTD loop. That bus seemed to take forever last fall! We are going at the end of August.

If I remember correctly the TL/DTD bus went.....DTD/TL but I always go mid August so I can't say how long it would take you at the end of August with the Free Dining crowds and all...I don't remeber it being an hour long trip though....

I draw a blank for the BB trip...must be the sever disney withdrawel symptoms....:confused3

Hello Pop friends! :wave2:
Just got back from Pop this morning...we got a refurbed room in Building 6. (room 6311 to be exact!) I thought it was very nice but we had never stayed there before so can't compare to the old rooms! I had faxed a room request specifically for a refurbed room, but when we checked in, I mentioned that and they seemed to know nothing about my request. They were going to put us in building 10 but when I said I would be happy to wait while she checked, she came up with a refurbed room after all! Yay! Got into our room before 10 am and off to Epcot we went! Lots of pixie dust! :wizard: We loved staying there and had an absolutely great week! I am planning to write a mini trip report so stay tuned for that on the trip report board! :goodvibes
