Ok, I have a few more ?'s I can't believe in 2 weeks I will be at Pop Century we are so excited to get away from things here!!!!

My ?'s
Is there an ATM machine at POP Lobby area?
Also, I sleep with a fan can I get a fan from the hotel to use during our stay or should I bring a small one from home?

Can't wait to see you all there:thumbsup2

I don't think they have fans available, so if you need one bring it along.

Quick question???

Why do our ME tags say AK (on the green mickey head) on them but have Pop Classic printed on them?

Just got my ME tags today YEAH!!! Still haven't gotten my Reservation packet though?

Ok we just change are reservation from ASMU Suites to CBR saved 550.00. But if we booked POP we would still save around 700.00 more. We would be on the quick service plan so that is around 250.00 saved in tips. Plus another 500.00 on the reservation. Ugh what to do. We would get a perferd room if we stayed at Pop. Is there such a thing as a perferd room in the 60's section that is not really close to the pool?

I think there are rooms on the opposite side of the 60's building not facing the pool. We stayed in the preferred section of the 70's building. I think it was close enough to the pool, but very quiet.

I know I've seen it mentioned here somewhere -- what's the space of the door opening, to do the tension rod/curtain thing between the bathroom and sleep area?

Found this in post #2 on first page...

If you need additional privacy from the vanity area or if you're looking to darken the sleeping area while you’re getting ready in the morning, pack a tension rod and shower curtain w/rings or a regular curtain. Place this between the vanity area and the bed area. The width of this "doorway" is 38", so plan accordingly. An alternative is to use two Command Adhesive (removable) Hooks and hang shower curtain on the hooks.

I like the resort, but those rooms are really small. The first time I saw one, I was very surprised at the size and there were only 2 of us. I would go for another option.

I have a question, really nothing to do with POP, but we are staying there and need some advice on parking. We have an ADR at the Poly for breakfast one morning and we have rented a car for the duration of our trip. My question is if we drive our car to the Poly, can we leave it there and take the monorail to the parks, or do we have to take the car to the TTC, park there and then take the monorail over? It would really be less of a hassle to just park the car at the Poly and monorail it over. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. :goodvibes

You will need to park at the TTC. You can walk to the Poly from there.

We were the opposite. After hearing how small the rooms are I was amazed at how big they actuall are. Just like most normal hotels.

Ok please tell me that aren't that small. We stayed at POFQ in April for 2 weeks with 4 of us and we were fine. MY step son is off to the service next year so he wants to come and spend some time with the family before he leaves. So we are thinking we could do one room at pop. The only thing holding me back is the room size with 5 of us. There ages are 17,4 and 1. The bed sharing thing don't bother any of us. My baby will sleep in a pack in play or sometimes she will get in bed with us. But from what I understand the beds are the same size as the moderates. The bathroom is really a non issue as my girls are very young. My step son usually takes a shower at night at home. So it will be just me and Dh fighting for the mirror in the morning.

The beds are doubles at the values. There are queens at deluxe and few mods. The bed size is a bigger deal to me than room size.

The beds are doubles. I don;t think it was small at all. The difference in size from a moderate is not that much at all.

Thanks Jenseib. I would rather take the extra money and spend it at tren-d. To me it is a huge savings.

That's why I'm staying at POP. It's my second trip this year, and I figured it would help me save money for food. This thread was so helpful with planning. Everyone here is so positive, informative, and prompt with replies. I thought that if nice people like this are staying there, then I want in.:thumbsup2
