Yes, I confirmed it was the regular dining plan. The odds are we won't be able to do the bounceback (oldest is starting college next year and I have no idea how the timing will work out, let alone the money!

), but it certainly seemed to make sense to book and not use rather than the other way around. I do have the flyer, which was right on my table in the room, and will scan it in later if I can.
We did get towel animals every day except one, which even my 16 year old son thought was cool! Our room was cleaned every day, but they didn't always clean everything. It was no big deal to us, but I know from reading these boards that it is to others. For example, they frequently left the bedspread on the floor and just made the bed without it. Or didn't empty all the trash cans. Or put new towels up but didn't take away the wet ones on the back of the door or on the floor. We originally tried hanging our towels up to dry, but between the AC and the humidity, we found they weren't dry by the next time we'd need them so we ended up putting them on the floor to make sure we'd get dry ones.
We found everything very walkable at Pop. We had a car and I definitely think it was further from where we were (building 3, 50's) to the parking lot than to the lobby/food court/buses. Obviously a lot of this would depend on where you were. We requested a quiet area and were happy being on the back side of this building. Kind of overlooked another 60's building and woods and if we looked, the lake. Only had trouble with noise one day around midnight and that was a group of kids running around and slamming doors. There is a fan on a timer in the bathroom that we used for "white noise" most evenings - it would go off about an hour later.
The pools never seemed overly crowded, but as I said, they were a bit too warm for my comfort level. The first few days it rained a lot, and when we went in during the evenings they were fairly nice. But the last days it was just plain hot, and during the days the pools were just warm, not cool or refreshing at all. If you went in, then got out and went back to your AC'd room, then you felt cool, but we rarely spent more than 5 minutes in a pool because of the heat. But we're from Wisconsin too, so may have a different idea of comfortable water temperature!
The food court as I said also was never crowded when we went there - maybe you'd wait for a person or two, but not a lot. In the mornings (say 7-7:30am), I never waited to get food, but sometimes did to check out. Seemed a lot of people had trouble understanding what was on the DDP and they'd be trying to get food for 6 people or so and it would take a long time to check out. We certainly never had problems getting a seat or anything.
Oh, regarding the snack credit katsmom4 - we were there on Thursday and each checkout had a list of what you could/couldn't get. DS was planning on the krispies and it was a no. I know you could get marshmallows, the fudge cookie, and one other thing. I know you couldn't get krispies (he asked too) or pretzels. I can't remember the third thing on that list either, but you must have just been lucky. We'd never been there before and thought what we got was really cool for a snack credit (and didn't even finish them over the next 4 days and couldn't bring them home since yesterday morning we had everything in our car while we were at DHS).
One more thing - checkin. We got there around 3:30 on Monday and there was NO ONE in line for either online or regular checkin. We had done online and literally it took a second to check in. Gave her my drivers' license, she handed me a packet and we were done. Only took a little longer because I asked her to show me where our room was in the building (wanted to make sure it wasn't overlooking a pool). Guess we just timed it well!
I'll be glad to answer any questions!
