Hi everyone! Quick question. We will be at POP in 14 days and I have been going back and forth about the dining plan. Have made some reservations already and was planning on paying OOP now I am thinking that we should do the dining plan. Does anyone know if we can add it on when we get there or when the last minute we can do it is? TIA!!!!

I'll be arriving in 16 days (I think that is the number). We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow and arriving two weeks from Friday. Hope we have good weather.

I think you have to add on ahead of time - but not 100% sure.

I am back today from a wonderful 6 day stay at Pop. We were in connecting rooms 4326 and 4327. They were close to the elevator, stairs, ice machines, Hippie Dippy and kiddie pools, and the food court area. Quiet rooms on the 3rd floor and actually bigger than I imagined. My only frustration is I wish there was a wheelchair/stroller ramp from the Hippie Dippy pool to the food court area in the middle between the pool bar and ping pong table. I know there are ones on each side but a tad out of the way. Please ask any questions if you have some.

I dont truly have the time to read thru the whole entire forum unfortunately.. But im doing a little searching of info for a friend.. Wondering what building non preferred that people would request.. Couple of different questions.. Closest to the Main hall?? Quietest?? and finally your overall favorite section with your reasoning?? This would be a great help to her and for myself.. I heard from someone (they weren't sure either) that they thought POP had the Twinkie Tiramisu again -but they were calling it Twinkle. Can anyone confirm?

If they did bring it back (they removed because of transfats) it may be something they make themselves, there fore it might be called twinkle because of copyright laws? Possibly?

If no one knows.......I can report back when I come back.

was this a surprise upgrade from Disney or an upgrade you decided on yourself? I remember in past years, Disney offered upgrades to some guests from value to DVC accomodations.

Do you book standard or preferred and did you make advanced request? If so, how? I would like to request a room on main floor, near bus and food court. Which section should I ask for, if possible? TIA

I booked preffered and I did not make a request. I am not the best one to answer because that was out first stay.

I did online check in and on each put a comment of connecting rooms with the name and ressie # of the other. No problems!

thanks! That's great that it worked out for you. When you arrived at Pop, is there a separate area for online check ins? We've stayed at Pop twice; the first time the wait to check in was forever (arrived later in the day, maybe around 5:00ish)and the second time it was very quick and easy (arrrived early, like 10:45 - 11:00 AM)This time we're arriving around 6:30ish and I didn't want to run into a huge line like before, so I was really hoping we could do online check in as well.

Just paid for my trip in Sept!! I am really excited! ... The thing I'm most excited for is dinner at the Crystal Palace! Is that lame? - two adults doing a character meal....

I just think its going to be a lot of fun! We are actually also doing the Garden Grill.

Staying at Pop again (of course!) And we are going to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour this time!

YAY for paying off your trip.

DFi and I love Crystal Palace. We're doing 3 character meals on our next trip and I don't think it's lame at all. It's a great way to meet the characters and the food is good and you can eat all you want.

Garden Grill is my favorite I spent 3 weeks checking the website every 30 minutes until I was able to get in for my Birthday. The food is amazing and the character interaction can't be beat.

I always stay at Pop and I always do CP!!!!! I go solo once a year and every now and then with the family !!!!
