Hi guys,

I asked this in the dining forum but no responses. Does anyone know if the food court still has the reuben flatbreads? There's conflicting info between the different online menus. I need to prepare myself if it's gone.

They had it in February but can't speak for now !!

For those of you who have requested a fridge, did you receive one? We have stayed at POP before but did not ask for a fridge. We will need one on this trip (our son only drinks soy milk) and would like to order groceries before we leave. I don't want to find out once we get there that a fridge is not available and then have no where to put our food. Does POP have an abundance available or only a few? We will be going the last week of February if that makes a difference.

This is my first time ordering one also. I will see what happens next month.

The would set it on the floor by the table and plug it in. this year I'll be doing the same because we use it alot.:surfweb:

Thanks for sharing your experience. It makes me feel a lot better!

Even with the free dining and the mugs. I'm sure we will use it alot. When I called to add it they told me 10.00 a day. But somewhere I read 15.00. Does anyone know the correct price?

Another question for the Pop veterans, what's the general consensus for on-line check in? We have never done it in the past, but we normally take the early morning flight out and arrive at our resort by 10am (and don't usually encounter long lines at check in). This time, we land at 5:15pm (and I am guestimating a 6:30 arrival at Pop). We really want to get to MK for a couple of hours that evening- would on line check in save us any time?

Thanks!

Hi all! I am hoping someone can help- and I am sure this has been asked before-

We are currently booked at Pop for Feb 5-12th. With the rumor of free dining starting tomorrow we have really started to think about upgrading to a moderate. We will for sure want to upgrade qs dining to DDP and I figure that will cost us $160 roughly (2 adults, 1 child). I was also considering a preferred room which would cost us another $118- that would make the price difference $286 to upgrade to a mod...

With all that said- I really think we should try out Pop- it sounds so fun, and lively! To save a bit more money maybe we should consider a standard room not preferred-

Would we be able to request a ground floor room in the 70s building- or is that too much to ask for?

Would you spring for the $118 to stay preferred

Would you upgrade to a mod for under $300?

Thank you in advance for any help you can give!

You can always request but they will not guarantee your request.

No I would not pay for prefered but if it was under 300 to go mod I'd do that.

I did online check in last year had no problems and was mighty fast!!! I did it again this year and ill let you know when I get back how it went ! We arrive 8/21 and come home 9/1.

I've only once rented fridges and had no problem with them!!I have also done the fridge swaps and if your dates are available would save more money!!I love Pop and am not sure I ever want to go anywhere else but if I did I would try POFQ !!
Online check in I have done twice the first time it was awesome the second time I arrived wwhen 2 of the CMs were going on break and the other 2 were tied up and I waited a long time !! Once I was seen it was really smooth!!With late arrival I would go for it as they assign your roomand with a late arrival I think the preassigned room would be the best chance !!

pop's been the only place ive stayed at in the last few years. at least everytime i go ive never had to wait but a few minutes in line for the normal checkins so i never really tried the online. i tend to be getting there between 8-10am usually from what i can remember.

Can anyone currently at POP, or recently returned, please post the status of the refurbs? I go in 17 days, and really hoping they get a bulk of the 50's done before I get there.

Thanks!

We arrived home on Wednesday from the POP. :sad2:
Used online check in, my request were building 4 ground floor facing pool.
We got building 4, 2nd floor, facing pool. :woohoo:
We asked to be moved to ground floor, and request was granted, we were right around the corner in room 4113 (60's). We have always been in building 4 and we love it there. :yay:
Our room was not refurbished yet, none of the rooms in this part of building 4 were done.
While we were there for the 10 days, we saw work being done in building 3, second floor, removing the beds and painting. Our last few days there they were working on the bottom floor. :thumbsup2
This was our 6th time staying at the POP. The only problem we had was in the food court, 2 times during our stay, the one station with the breakfast pizza was not open in the am. Breakfast pizza is my kids favorite, so they had to settle for cereal on those mornings. :confused3
On our last day we had 5 quick services left and we were able to convert them to 3 snacks each.
Also for the ppl who loved the frozen cokes in the past, which is another of my kids favorite, we were able to find them in Epcot in the cooling station and they are a snack. :cheer2:

If your child needs soy milk for medical reasons...like allergies to regular milk, look on the 1st page here and call about getting a medical fridge for free.

I would not pay for preferred.

Upgrading to a mod for under 300.00 (in a heartbeat) how are you getting a mdof for less then 300 more?

for our 8 days it was costing close to 600 per room.

Thank you so much. I love building 3, ground floor (facing building 4 or the lake), hope they are done in 2 weeks.....Thanks again for the updates! We all appreciate it.

This early realease of free dining is killing me. I just paid off my pop package 2 weeks ago. I only have 100.00 in next year's vacation fund. I so want to book now. But I guess I can wait til Thursday. I did get a price of 1985.00 for the 4 of us for the same dates with the QSDP.

Dh just asked me if we could maybe upgrade our dining plan also for next's month's trip. I was like:rolleyes: you wanted the QSDP. So last night after 2 hours I got some good adr's with character meals for the kids. Does anyone know if my 45 day mark went by can I still upgrade my dining plan with no fee? I know this isn't a pop question but I asked on the dininig board and no one has answered. Probably because they are all making there free dining reservations.

Tammi building 3 facing building 4 ground floor is def. the rooms they were working on, so you should be in a new updated room. :yay:
Actually walked around the entire building 3 area, and they had the windows (curtains) open, the rooms still were with the old furnishings, but not being used. All the stuff was piled on the tables. Beds were stripped. A few rooms on the ground floor facing the bowling pin pool had quests in them.
Maybe I should make this clear, coming from classic hall building 3 rooms before the elevators, the rooms facing building 4 area are the ones that were empty (beds removed and painting) and being worked on. Does that make sense. Although I believe that some other sections of building 3 were being emptied out, but also some had guest.

Makes total sense to me! Thanks. That is the exact area we like and where we were last year. I do not like facing the pool - too much noise. Thank you so much for letting me know - now I just hope they can give me one of those rooms!
