I had a quick question. I was looking at staying here from june 8-12th since it is a value resort. Is this a good resort to stay at for people without kids? I'm 23 & my other traveler is 29!

On a seperate note... I just booked my 27th birthday getaway! I'll be at POP from July 3 thru July 6 (my b-day) Does anyone know how crowded Disney is 4th of July weekend? TIA

I am 45, my partner is 39 - no kids - and we certainly didn't feel out of place or uncomfortable. It is a very welcoming and friendly resort, with a real mix of people.

You couldn't be more right.... I manage a salon & spa and we are never and I mean NEVER closed on a Saturday. Well, Independance day falls on a Saturday this year so we are closed!!! So I get to take a long weekend. So I couldn't be happier. I figure now that I have an idea of what it will be like I am prepared for the craziness and won't be surprised!

1) sorry in advance because I know it's probably posted here somewhere but how early in the morning can we check in? (I realize we might not get into a room early but I want my tickets)

2) Is there an up charge for postcard stamps sold at the gift shop?

Just FYI, the kiddie pool is still closed. I did ask a CM at the pool is she knew when it would re-open and she said there was some work being done on some pipes and she was not sure. I will post a couple pics this evening that was taken this morning.

1. In March I arrived a little after 10:30 AM. They checked me in right away and by 11:00 AM I was in my room unpacking. Now I know they won't guarantee that you can get in early, but if the have a room reaady they will def. let you in early. And you will get your tickets right away, so if a room isn't ready you can still go to the parks.

2. I'm not sure about the post card stamps, sorry

I just bought a regular stamp there a couple of weeks ago and there was no upcharge. They were out of postcard stamps at that time as they were waiting on the rates to go up this week before replinishing. I would guess there is no upcharge on them either.
