You could always bring a few back at night and put them on ice until the morning.

Oh, bummer. In the past at other WDW resorts we'd stop at the food court on the way to the room for the night and grab a few of those 1/2 & 1/2 creamers to take with us to have in our coffee in the morning. They only had that dry creamer in the rooms.

(We are bringing a small coffee maker with us)

YES! But do they have the creamers ? - that was and still is the original question!

No there are no creamers. What they have is a milk or creamer, not sure which, in a big dispenser so unless you want to try to take the big machine off the counter and try taking it to the room there is nothing else to take to the room. lol

I was asking some friends on another thread and they also said no creamers but one friend would take a cup of the stuff out of the machine with her to put in the fridge for the next morning. So if you are renting a fridge or are in a fridge swap that could work. You could even bring a cup back and put it in the ice bucket with ice to keep it cold. It might stay cold till the next morning.

Hey has anyone faxed room requests to the hotel before arriving? I know years ago they used to allow you to do this, and then I heard they stopped. Anyone know if Pop allows faxed room requests still or not?

I am preparing to fax my request off in the next 2 days but MelanieC posed the question if anyone has faxed lately and if that is still acceptable, does anyone know?

I did a few weeks ago. I also did it last year. Some resorts have stopped taking them, but Pop is not one of them.

I actually posted exactly what I faxed a few pages back. (maybe 5-10 pages back now.)

I don't recall if I saw wine or not but I definitely saw beer. It was a bit pricey though.

I didn't see any beer, but I definitely saw wine. It was also a bit pricey.

They had both a few weeks ago. Yo ucan alos get beer or other beverages at Petals pool bar. But the beer was price there too.

I can't wait to stay in POP next Month! OH! One more thing this hotel is right for the Sanchez Family?

Does anyone know if the coffee creamers at POP are 1/2 & 1/2 or non-dairy?

Do they require refrigeration?

The coffee cream as I recall was in a machine and you pulled the handle to release the cream I don't recall creamers but that doesn't mean there wasnt! If not you maybe able to ask for a small cup with a lid to stick cream in. Or take a small container with a lid with you that you can put the cream into just in case there are no creamers

I got a preferred room for $79 a night with the AP rate. I think the late Spring deal is about the same rate.

Just a couple of yrs ago I was paying $79 ($89 pref) a ngt AP rate at a moderate and $49/59 value (pref) for a few trips. ..sigh... those were the days. Of course, the first yr we went to WDW we payed $79 for a CR Garden room and $99 for a Tower room...and we had an MK view.

When Disney opened the values it was supposedly to make it more affordable for families - as well as more affordable for families who needed 2 rooms. Now for families without any discounts in high season a value can be $135 to $150 a ngt before taxes...even higher during Christmas week.

Most people pay rack rate at Disney Resorts....just makes me sad that a value now costs so much.

Last August I accidentally picked some up in a bin (with ice) a few times when looking for a butter alternative. Not sure if it was 1/2 and 1/2, but it was those same little containers.

What is the best decade to stay in? I'm thinking 60's or 70's because they are closest to the bus stops and the main hall. Are these only for "preferred rooms?" What is everyone's opinion? Thanks!

We stayed in the 70's building in December with lots of little ones (preferred) and it was the best location....close to the playground, bus stop, main hall, pool...we loved it!!!

I'm not sure about the 70's, but the 60's the lakeview rooms are standard according to the maps on page 1 of this thread.

Oh, I completely agree! I am paying rack rate for 2 nights because I overlap my dates. That is KILLING me! $130 for a VALUE resort. I think I'm missing the "value" part.

Hi guys - do you know if Everything Pop has a toaster in the food court? I am thinking about bringing Pop Tarts (haha, it's funny, cause we're eating Pop Tarts at POP... ) for breakfast, but I don't want to lug a toaster in the luggage with me.

Also, is it one of those bagel toasters, if there is one, that drops your food down and could possibly break it?

I think it IS one of those industrial toasters.

One of my friends was in Pop in Feb and saw someone trying to cook a frozen pizza in it.



So, yeah, pop tarts might break, but they certainly would survive better than frozen pizza.
[For the record, lest anyone try it, the pizza fell apart and gummed up the whole toaster so it was unusable.]

A Frozen Pizza in those toaster that is too funny , but messy for poor CMs to clean up I am sure

I think a Pop Tart would go through fine, as I have seen people toasting all kinds of bread and bagels in them.

Yeah, we brought pop tarts, too. Great vacation breakfast! Ah... memories.

IS there a microwave? I'm glad to know we can get milk (once we run out of what we bring from home!) at POP, even though it will cost us an arm and a leg! We GO through some milk at our house!
