Thanks! I'm calm down! I'm confused about the lobby! Which is the online check-in and check-out! I need to is the Pop has a online check-in!

Anyone know if cream cheese is available for purchase at pop? Im trying to deceide weither to just pack a bunch of breakfast/snack items and take them with us then buy the milk and stuff at pop (we will have a fridge thanks to the swaps) or just use 1 of the delivery services?

 my friend! I do remember seeing cream cheese there, Drea.

You're welcome!

Online Check-in: The lobby now has a separate line for people who decided to check into their rooms on the internet prior to their arrival. (If I understand correctly, you can do this with your reservation number on Disney's website.) The intention is that if you use the online check-in, you'll speed up your check-in time a bit because they'll have your credit card information already. Sounds like the new process not working super well yet though. Of course you do not HAVE to do this. You can use the "normal" line and check into the hotel as you normally would as well. However, if you choose to do the online check-in, you will see a sign somewhere in the lobby directing you to the Online Check-in Line. :)

There's nothing you need to do or a place you need to go to when you checkout, unless you see some charge on your checkout papers that you received on your door that doesn't look right.

Does that answer your question?

Hi all! We'll be at Pop in less than a month; we have a preferred room booked- I did request-60's bldg.,ground floor, near the pool. Do you think I have a good chance getting those requests? Thanks!

And I too saw the creamers on ice-that was last May though. So, has that changed? It was a pain too open all those creamers every am;) So, if the creamer is now in a dispenser that would be great!

Thanks for this thread and all the hard work maintaining!:thumbsup2 You do a great job!:cool1:

can someone help me? Are my room requests ok, or too much?
Thanks!:flower3:

you can check in to Pop at any time...your room might not be ready until after 3:00 though. Last time we went to Pop Century, DH and I arrived at 11:00 in the morning and checked in. We did not expect our room to be reaedy yet but to our surprise it was ready for us! If your room is not ready yet, you can leave your bags (if you have them) with luggage services and hang out at the pool, check out the resort or head to the parks until your room is ready.

Check out time means you have to be out of your room by 11:00 AM so they can get it ready for the next guest. You do not need to go to the front desk to check out ~ they will leave your final receipt on your door early in the morning on the day you check out. Hope that helps you!

When we wer there a few eeks ago, there was not a seperate line for online check in people. From what I have read so far, it sometimes does, but alot of times don't, so it can be hit and miss till all the bugs are out and it becomes more popular. At this point it doesn't seem to be saving much time to check in online.

I requested 1st floor, 60's, pooliside the last 2 trips and got it. I also fax 4 days prior to going. There is no guarentee and the busier the time you go, the less the chance. But if that is what you want then surely request. I personally love that area, but it isn't for everyone. Be aware that there is a possiblilty of more noise being on the 1st floor and near the pool.

Official check in is 3, but you can check in anytime. Your room just might not be ready till after 3. Many times they are available earlier. You can leave your luggage with luggage services if you like. But it sounds like you are driving, so you might not need to.

I am sorry if we offended you. Some of your questions haven't been worded properly for us to understand, so I wondered if maybe you don't speak English as your first langauge.
I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Expect it to be EXTREMELY busy. This is one of the busiest weekedns of the year. You would be smart to get to the parks as early as possible. I have heard of people being turned away over Easter weekend. Being a resort guest, you are supposed to be allowed in no matter what, but it will be very packed.

I saw the VIP cleaning...Can someone tell me what that's about???? Thanks!

It is arranged through WDW Resorts special needs department for guests who have severe allergies or other medical needs that would require special cleaning. I have an autoimmune issue, so they arrange for each visit for me.

Let me know if you need more info.:)

Hope that helps! :flower3:

Just to clarify, if you are a resort guest, you are guaranteed admission into a park, but not necessarily the park of your choice.

If the park you want to go to is at a stage 4 closure, you will be sent to another park.

Hey Kimberly ~

Thanks for keeping up with this thread. I have an addition about the ac/heat vent. The cold air return is in the wall at the floor level. The recommended spot for an air mattress is right next to that vent. Be aware that it's very cold and It'll freeze you out. Bring extra blanket or wear heavy socks and don't put your head right next to vent.

I've been for Easter 3 yrs. It is VERY busy. Surprisingly enough when I was there in October, towards the end of the week it started to feel comparably crowded. I have seen the park denying entrance to guests (I don't know if they were resort guests or not) during this time. We got to the parks early and were able to do a lot of stuff easily. Around 10 it would start to get really crowded.

I bleive you need to show ID, but if the reservation is in your moms name, she may be the one who needs to show it. But always good to have your ID with you at all times. I'm not sure what you need for online check in. But most likely your Id at least and any conf numbers they give you. You still have to go to the desk though and finish checking in. That is why I kind of think online check in is kind of a waste. So far it really doesn;t seem to save much time. Maybe a minute tops. But about the only thing different from what I gather is that they have your CC number on file already. Which just takes seconds to swipe when you are there anyways. If you have a requested area, and it's not fulfilled, you still will have to see if they can accomidate you, so thats not saving anytime either.

Just an FYI we have been there over easter numerous times! It is very very busy as all have said! To my knowledge it doesn't matter if you are a resort guest or not if the park is at it's max they turn ppl away and you would have to go to another park. Safety issues. We have seen them turn ppl away and they have also made comments that is was good we were coming in when we were there as they were close to their max! Also if you want a specific ride make sure you do it first as fast passes were out easily at 10am for popular attractions during easter! :thumbsup2

I don't really see what the whole point of it is. I mean when you book your ressie they ask if you want them to link your CC to your room anyway. I'm going to try it just to see what the diff is...and also bc my inner child is intrigued by this lol. Check in only really took 5 minutes anyway.
