Good Neighbor Bunk Beds

We are starting to plan a DL trip in 2026 for my sons fifth graduation trip. He really wants to stay in a bunk bed room. We are looking at the Park Vue hotel right now due to proximity to the park, but its not technically a good neighbor hotel so we can't create a package. Has anyone had a good experience with any of the other good neighbor hotels that has a bunk bed?

Howard Johnson also has regular rooms that are a queen bed and buck beds. My kids adore staying in them

Ugh, neither one of them have the ability to book the bunk room as a package. Were you able to book them as a package? Maybe through Dreams?

I think all the rooms at the courtyard have a bunk bed.

Is there a special benefit you are getting by booking a package? It's not that I have never booked a package for Disneyland, but most of the time I prefer the flexibility of booking room and tickets separately and I haven't noticed an appreciable savings for booking a package. Maybe if bunkbeds are the most important thing, you should consider booking your components separately.

We always stay at Park Vue and just book our hotel separately. There isn’t really any benefit to booking through the Disneyland website. In fact there is more flexibility with booking the hotel direct. The courtyard Marriott is another great option, but more expensive. Im pretty sure all of the rooms have bunk beds.

Why do you want to book a package? Are you aware that the cancellation policies for Disneyland packages are much more restrictive than for standalone hotel reservations?

I'd just book Park Vue separately as well. You won't save much with a package and the tradeoff for convenience of having everything on one reservation is that you have much less flexibility with cancellations. It's not worth it in most cases. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be some kind of ticket deal next year too.

“Good Neighbor Hotel” is pay-to-play. That is, the hotels pay Disney a fee and agree to provide certain services in exchange for the designations. By services, I mean they advertise and sell tickets at gate prices, etc.

You will likely find better pricing booking package components separately, anyway.

I was just listing off all the nearby places with bunk beds I could think of….missed the good neighbor part.

Reading other responses, I would also just book separately instead of a package. But that is a personal choice.
