My suspicion is that we will gradually see a few changes like the iced tea over the coming months. One of the reasons for the Nestea and Necafe brands being served througout WDW was an arrangement with Nestle. With the end of the sponsorship of The Land Pavillion, I imagine their food/beverage partnership is changing or ending.

Personally, I'm praying for decent coffee. That swill they served wasn't real coffee - it was simple a reconstituted concentrate - BLECH!!!!!

So is it official that the frozen coke is gone for good are are we just assuming becaus e they took it out? Maybe it's in need of repair? But if thats the case I would think they would bring a replacement while it was out! HMMMM??:rolleyes1 Interesting the kids loved these things! But the machine was down alot in august/ september last year during free dining! That one machine just couldn't keep up with the demand!! :sad2:

Well, several pages back one person did say they asked two CMs if the machines were coming back, and they replied no. :confused3

I guess I can understand that disappointment, especially when it is really hot out and you want a quick cool down.

Maybe the writing campaign will work for you all!

hey all,
just saw this thread and saw where people have said the frozen cokes are gone. that just plain sucks, i used to enjoy sitting around relaxing after a long day in the park with a cup or to, hopefully they'll be back by the time i get there.

I've only stayed 60's ppolside so far. I just plan to someday try 50's. We love the 60's though. We rarely heard much noise. This year more than last, but still not too bad.

so when do I request a certain room. Should I have done itwhen I made the reservation or do I do it when I do on-line check in?

Sorry to interrupt the whole frozen coke discussion, I am just joining

I have a compiled a list of disers staying at Pop in 2009. The first post is updated to include dates of travel and what they are celebrating. Hope some of you will join in and maybe some of us will run into each other while there. Here is the link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2033980

Brilliant idea! I added a link to your thread in Post #1. So, if any of you don't have firm dates yet, you can easily find the Countdown thread here in Post #1!

:welcome:

If you booked directly with Disney you can call reservations any time and ask them to add your room requests. If you booked with a Travel agent, then ask her/him to call Disney and have your requests added.

Be sure to list the requests in order of importance and not more than 3...for example we would request (with a non-preferred location booked):

1. 4th floor
2. 50's or 60's
3. fireworks view (which means it will also be lakeside)

or

1. 4th floor
2. 50's
3. pool view

At check-in, before your keys are made up, ask the CM if your room meets your requests and if not, if they might please be able to find a room that does (explain your requests). The POP CM's are some of the nicest on property. :thumbsup2

Hope this helps! Happy Planning!!! :goodvibes

Minnie&Nana! I did make online check-in and I have the fireworks view! I can't wait to see it!
