Well that stinks about the frozen cokes. When we stayed in November, the frozen coke machines were broken our entire stay and since that was our first stay at Pop, we never got to even have one!!

I guess we will be making many trips to Downtown Disney for some Goofy's Glaciers...

goodbye old friend......you will be missed! :sad1:

:( rip!

Hmmm...I smell another Nestle conspiracy. My guess is the new tea machines are some kind of NesTea. Which means they are not nice fresh-brewed teas, but more of the pre-mixed sludge like the coffee. :sad1: Oh, please let me be wrong!

All Tea at CS spots are now Peak (not Nestea). At least the ones I ate at last month. -thank goodness - nestea is nasty. I despise instant, but Gold Peak is the only one I can stomach. Its not too bad.

You all are so funny about tea - I loves "Me" cold tea without any sugar :) So refreshing!!! When I was at AsSports last month - I lived on the fresh brewed tea with just a lemon in it.

Maybe if enough guests expressed their disappointment in no longer having frozen cokes, they may listen.... if anyone is going to Pop within the next couple days, or just returned, are the machines indeed no longer there?

If not, send guest services an email letting them know that you are unhappy about the decision to remove the self-serve frozen cokes at Pop. That way GS will log the comments and they will be forwarded to Pop mgmt. It wouldn't hurt, and who knows, they may even listen! :surfweb:

I'm excited to see POP again!

How many more sleeps, Jeany? Three?

I love "me" cold tea, too! However...if it's that sludgey powdered crap, forget it!

While they're at it, they should get real coffee too. I despise Nescafe.

Well, it's disappointing that the slushies are gone, but it'll save me the price of refillable mugs this summer. I'd have bought them just for those since we get soft drinks with all of our food court meals on the DDP.

Gold Peak isn't bad, but on vacation I want to drink/eat/enjoy things I normally do not get at home. :)

:cheer2: Oh good! Glad to have my theory proven wrong on this one! Yeah, the NesTea is nasty-as is the NesCafe.

Ditto. Drink it every day at home. But it still isn't as good as our beloved frozen Cokes - which I only get on vacation at POP. :sad2:

YUCK! Tea is one of the nastiest things ever. LOL! I don't do coffee in any way shape or form either though.

Hey now! Them are fighten' words. At least to us gals from the South. :lmao:

Wait I just remembered!!!! Yes Disney serves that nasty Nestea...... Okay you are right at least about the tea at Disney.:)

Good idea TJ. Does anyone have the email address? I'm so saddened by the loss of the frozen cokes. I do enjoy good iced tea, but the cokes were something special that I only got at the Pop. It was just one of those magical Disney things that made my trips so nice. They will be missed.:sad1:

It may or may not do any good. But at least we can make the effort!

Here is the email: guest.mail@wdw.disneyonline.com
I would suggest that you compliment them on their resort and then express your dissapointment in the removal of the frozen cokes. Maybe if enough of us write them, they will bring it back! :wizard:

OK if I am a little dense, but these frozen coke things are they not the same as the slushies you can get from the 7-11 type of stores, or at least used to?

I personally never drink them as I am diabetic, and dislike coke products anyway, but if Disney never brings them back, can't you still get them elsewhere? I guess I just don't get it, but good luck with your writing campaign!

Yes, they are pretty much the same thing as a 7-11 Slurpee.

You can get them elsewhere at WDW, but apparently not at the Pop resort anymore. :( It stinks if you and/or your kids liked them and got them with your refillable mugs.

Wait I just remembered!!!! Yes Disney serves that nasty Nestea...... Okay you are right at least about the tea at Disney.:)

I think Nestea is going away. Every place I saw at WDW that was counterservice where you would see it on a board was Gold Peak now. Now -I didn't eat everywhere. But there were new Gold Peak machines at the Sports (unfortunately I ate there most often) and it was on the menu boards (actually said Gold Peak) at Pizzafari and Tangeriene Cafe. I didn't eat at many other spots besides the sports.

When I dined at the Plaza it tasted like fresh brewed. Most restaurants have always been fresh brewed except every once in a while it would be nescafe, but most were good and fresh (not instant).

I despise instant tea - ick yuck, but got to try Gold Peak in Vegas last year. I was like - wow I can stomach this. It tasted as close to fresh brewed as you could get out of a machine. Didn't have that horrible Nestea aftertaste.

It's also the first time I've ever ordered ice tea in a Disney CS place because of this.

Oh yeah - Gold Peak is owned by Coke so it makes sense.
