Aw - I know what you mean!
I love fireworks anyway...so Disney fireworks are that much better!
great 2 updates, you guys had what we had at the dinner, i got the steak candi got the chicken. and you also had the exact same table as us when we ate there.
the rice was pretty good if you used the soy sauce type stuff to put on it.
it cracks me up when they get in those moods like i have to keep moving so i dont fall asleep mood.
Crazy!! All that cool people must sit in that area!!

I didn't even think to use anything on the rice...I was pretty sad over not having the mashed potatoes!!
I love kids. Landon learned how to open our doors at home finally and last night when I tried to get him down initially, he kept coming back out. I finally got him to sleep and around 2 or 3, he just walks into my room like it's no big deal. I was so tired, so I was going to let it slide. Then he just kept playing and talking and I couldn't sleep so I put him back in his bed. He tried to come back like 3 times before I just waited at his door until he tried to come again and he ran back to his bed and threw a huge tantrum. He finally did go back to bed though. Then woke up at 6:30, which might possibly be the latest he's woken up ever. It's times like these I almost wish he was a teenager who loved sleeping and sleeping in! Of course, when those days come, I'll probably wish he would come wondering into my room looking for some Mommy cuddles.
Hi, Kimmy!! Joining in a little late, but I'm caught up! Sounds like a perfect first day

Landon is sooo big! Such a cute little boy!
Glad you guys enjoyed Kona-- I love the whole atmosphere and "smell" of the Poly, too! DBF is not a fan (we had a pretty bad meal at Ohana-- not crazy about the food besides dessert and AWFUL service), so I probably won't get to stay there, though.

The fireworks pictures are amazing!! Must have been hard not to do anything in the MK and be so close!!
Hey girl!! Thanks!!
That stinks that you had a bad experience at Ohanas!! I hate when places get popular and the service goes out the door...like it just goes to everyone's head there and they think that people will come no matter how they treat them, so it's okay for them to give bad service! Lame!!
Lapu lapu!!!!! My favorite!
Awesome pictures of the fireworks. Loving your TR so far!
Thanks!! I could go for a Lapu Lapu right this second!!
WHAT!?? 6 pages, you are on a roll, girl!
I just now noticed that you put your TR link up....I'm about to leave work, but I'm subbing and I'll have to get caught up soon! I can't wait!
Glad you made it over!! Don't get too excited about how fast the first night was posted...I think I want to wait for my PhotoPass cd and for Steph to put her pictures up (I put mine up the next day...it's been a week for her! Slacker! lol!) Otherwise my tr will get all out of order and I'll have to go back and add pics and just sounds like a head ache!!
So you have plenty of time to catch up!
Great way to end the fisrt day! I so love the poly. ive never had the pleasure to stay there but while i was on my college program i went resort hopping and i just love it and hope to stay there one day after i get this degree, make some money, and i will still need that discount.
ok so its official, I have now copied off of you for a third thing lol We are going down one day ahead of my mom and booked the Pop Century for that night. We're probably going to DTD and Pop is the closest out of all the values. I know its just one night but is there any part of the resort that you would recommend requesting? I guess maybe near one of the best pools, but far enough away that its not too loud.
I've never been there before so i'm totally blind to its layout..
YAY!!!! You will love Pop!! Hmm all the pools are pretty good. Last year I was by the computer pool and that was the only one we went to and then this year we were way closer to the bowling pin pool but always walked to the Hippy Dippy. I think you'll be fine no matter what! There really is no bad location!! There are Goofy jets too that we saw and look pretty fun. Also, behind the Hippy Dippy pool, there's a huge little padded area and more jets. We just stayed in the big pool though because the kiddie one was SO COLD!!
Here's a link to the map! This year I was in the building with Lady and last year, I think I was with Roger Rabbit. Looking now, the 80's and 90's does kind of look more isolated, so maybe that's why I didn't see much of the resort last year? Not to mention we didn't need to use buses either. So maybe request a lower decade?
