And on sang Giselle when my alarm went off at around 5:45am on that blissful Tuesday. I thought that song would be a good song to wake up to since I knew my day was going to be enchanted!
I was literally bouncing off the walls. My mom watched some Playhouse Disney with Landon while I got dressed. Once I was ready I threw in all last minute things (phone charger, makeup, toothbrush, etc.) in my bag and packed it all in my car! Once Landon was strapped in, we drove over to Dustins house!
When we got there, Dustin was doing a ton of last minute packing. I wonder if he would forget anything? Hmm It was pretty busy around his house that morning. He had family who had been in town who were leaving that morning AND his sister was leaving to go back to college that morning too. So much excitement in the air. (Im pretty sure everyone was secretly jealous of us though haha.)
Finally, around ten til 8, we all back in Dustins Xterra with his mom to the airport!! We made a quick stop for gas and then made it there in seriously like 18 minutes. It was wonderful!
We check in with United, no problem. Security was mostly a breeze. Landon had a slight panic attack when he had to put his blankie through the screening thing. Once it went inside and out of sight, he threw his head back dramatically and screamed. Im pretty sure he believed hed never see it again. Of course, the excitement once he saw it on the other side was just as dramatic. He started attempting to jump (I was holding him) and screaming, baby! Baby! I think its so cute that he calls his blankie baby.
Since none of us had time for breakfast that morning, we were all starving. Dustin ran off to McDonalds and Steph and I were in search of some coffee. We knew Caribou Coffee had good coffee but their food selection was seriously slacking. We really didnt want to go to several different places so we headed over to Paradise Bakery and hoped they couldnt mess up coffee too bad. I ordered a mocha frappe and a cinnamon roll, while Steph got an iced latte and parfait. I really enjoyed mine but Steph hated the coffee. (Shes a semi-coffee snob since she works at a small little coffee shop here!)
We went and met Dustin at our gate and started eating. My little man FLIPPED for the cinnamon roll. He could not get enough. He LOVED it. I couldnt give it to him fast enough, the little hooligan!
Of course, Dustin had scarfed down his food before we even got there. Steph loved her parfait though.
(Side note: Dustin tends to make awkward faces haha. Its a recurring theme.)

I seriously cannot believe how much hes grown. Blows my mind! Anywho Dustin and Steph wanted in on some of Landons cuteness.
Steph needed some good morning cuddles. I dont blame her. I need those every single day from my little prince!
Can you see how Landon is just aching to be free? Thats because he sees our plane in the window! Dustin took him over for a closer look.
They started boarding for our flight shortly after that. We were all seated together and in the first group after the first class people to be boarded. We got right on and Landon loved looking out the window!
Once everyone was seated, we were able to go take off right away. Usually at our airport, we have to wait in line behind like 5 planes so that was nice. Landon fell asleep quickly. I cant remember if it was before we even took off or immediately after. Whenever it was, it was nice. I was kind of trapped under my sleeping boy so I threw on the headphones and started watching the in-flight movie, which was Iron Man 2. Then my eyes started getting heavy. I tried to fight it but eventually sleep won.
I then woke up to Dustin laughing. Turns out, while Steph went to the bathroom, he used the opportunity to take super embarrassing pictures of me sleeping with my mouth hanging wide open. I keep telling myself it didnt look as bad as the pictures and that he just got me from REALLY awkward angles. Haha. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I cant post these pics because they are on Stephs camera phone!
Landon woke up shortly after me and then we quickly started descending to MCO! I just LOVE how much faster flights go when you pass out.
We collect our carry-ons and find our way to the Magical Express check-in! I was so excited. It just seems so much more Disney than a rental car! The first CM we met was from the next town over from us!! Hers is way small and she was surprised we had even heard of it! She was lovely and gave Landon a Pirates League sticker. Woohoo!
We made our way on to a FULL bus. I was a little upset that I couldnt get the front so I wouldnt be able to get a good entrance pic. Oh well. We went to the very back where it had 3 seats so we could all just sit together. Of course, I whipped out the camera!
(See that cruise line bus in the window? I hope to board one of those buses in the next few years!)
Before we knew it, we were passing under the WDW entrance sign!! This is the only picture I could snap unfortunately:
We dropped a few guests off at Caribbean Beach and then went next door and saw this fabulous sign:
Once we were inside, Steph and Dustin took Landon to the little cartoon viewing area and I went and checked in. The wait was rather long. They seemed to be training multiple people. Once I got there, my check-in went smoothly. We were in room 1360, which is building one, or the building behind the giant Lady.
I love this picture mostly because its the only one from the whole trip where my hair isnt being punished by humidity.
We went to find our room and stopped and asked one of the guys at the airline check-in area which one was building one. He starts explaining how to get to our room (go down the hall, second left, up to the 3rd floor, turn right, then left you get the picture) and then another guy starts trying to explain it to us and the first guy goes No! I am helping them!! Haha. It was hilarious how he said and they ended up having a little squabble over who got to help us. (random note: I dont know if I used the word squabble correctly in a sentence. I thought I just made it up kinda but it didnt set off my spell check. Lol!)
So we get to our room and drop everything off. It was a little before 5. I had made this nights adr at 7:15 because I was so worried about getting there on time! Obviously, it was wasted worry (arent so many of them?!). We were all starving since we hadnt eaten since like 9 oclock that morning and decided to go grab a small snack to tide us over.
Can anyone guess what I got? Same thing I got my first night last year and fell deeply in love with. CHEESE FRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got 2 to share. Guess who else loved them?
Like mother, like son. Haha. Except Im a little cleaner when I eat them. The funny thing about this picture is that he is actually saying cheese!. Henceforth, its officially the cheesiest picture ever!
Dustin cleaning him up. Dustin is SO GOOD with him. Thats why hes Landons godfather.
After our quick bite, we headed back to our room to get ready for dinner!

Landon LOVED the giant lady. He would get so excited every single time we walked past it and would shout puppy! and wave to her! Aw.

I think its cute seeing him attempt to carry all his stuff. Usually hes trying to hold all this plus Buzz. Adorable!

What a great update!!! I absolutely HATE flying, but I'm always so excited to get to the airport. Weird, I know. I cannot believe how much Landon has grown since last Sept!!! What a cutie pie.
Isn't ME the greatest thing ever invented?! Last June, Pop was the first stop and it was awesome. The best thing is not waiting for luggage...that is the worst thing about arriving home.
How was it over in the 50's section? That is what I've requested for next month. How is the walk to the buses and Classic Hall? We stayed 60's poolside last year and just loved it!
Can't wait to hear about dinner at the Poly.

which I highly doubt will happen bc my Conner is a beast lol. How do you like the Pop Century? We might be staying there our first night...its between that and the movies, I can't decide.

Yeah! Totally loved the update!!! I cannot believe how big Landon is!!! Not to mention how stinking adorable he is!!!! Last time we stayed at Pop we were in building 1 as well! All your pics have me so excited to go back to Pop, I seriously love it there! I absolutely love the pic of Landon with his baby and Woody, too stinking cute! I can't wait to read more!

I love ME!! It was so great not having to pick up luggage. I really, really love it!! Best thing ever!!
I loved the 50's section!! You know how each building kinda has the elevator as the center and then 3 areas that spread out from there for the halls to the room? Well one of those 3 halls was literally right next to Classic Hall, so its really close. It's the first one right there after the area where ME drops you off. It was fast to get to the bus stop by going around the front of Classic Hall, and quick to use the back to get to the food court and gift shop. I can't tell you about the bowling pin pool though because we always just went to Hippy Dippy which was still super close. I hope you get your request! It was great there! Wouldn't it be crazy if you got room 1360 too?

Thanks, Sara!! I love the Poly too!! I want to stay there one day. The whole time we were all just loving how it smelled!! I can see why you love it. You might get a shout-out or 2 in the next post.

Luckily the flight there coincided with nap time! The trip back? Not so much.
It's so hard for them having to stay in one little space for so long!! I love Pop Century! It's my 2nd time there!! As long as I'm staying in a value, I'll probably continue going there!! I love it. Of course, I've never stayed in any of the All Stars so I can't tell you really knowing completely...but I'd go with Pop. It's phenomanal there.

Aw, Lynn! That's so cute. Looking back I should've set it to a different Disney song every day, but it stayed on "That's How You Know". I love that song. I can't wait to get married there too!!

I live on the same coast and our flights take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours (we fly nonstop too most of the time). I don't like to take off more than once in one day!
Great to hear about the 50's section. Madison loved the Hippy Dippy Pool, but she's very excited to try the Bowling Pin pool on this trip. It sounds like you were very close to everything which is awesome. There really isn't a bad spot at Pop since it's not super huge. Although, I wouldn't want to be in a lakeside room. I know it's a popular request for people that like quiet, but I don't like it too quiet when I sleep. Plus, being by any sort of water in Florida makes me nervous. I'm always afraid there are going to be alligators...AND people have spotted a gator in Hourglass Lake before!
