When the visiting antiques nuts would park in my front yard? Hated them. Now that it's not in my front yard? Love them. Of course, I now live more than an hour away. Have you been there for one of those weekends?

If I was it was when I was REALLY young. I know my grandparents used to drive to Walnut to go to all the antique shops I am sure I got taken along at some point, I am glad they did go there I have some awesome stuff to show for their trips!

Father's day weekend was horrible. the town (then at least, it's still going strong though) would go from a population of 897 to 60,000 for that weekend. But you're right, they have some great stuff there. If anyone is into antiques, they really need to visit. It's heaven for the collector. I got a beautiful wood box that I LOVE from one of those weekends.

It took 11 pages to find someone even close to me! I had some friends from Shawnee Mission (I don't remember which one, you'd have to tell me which one is where) and I also graduated in 1991! I was a little south of you though Spring Hill and Olathe.

I didn't think I'd see anybody that close to me! I am in Louisburg now. If you had told me that I'd live in Louisburg (or any of the towns around here, Spring Hill, Gardner, Ottawa, etc....) when I "grew up" I would have never beleived it. What a small world. I bet we were at some of the same high school football games.

You went to college with my step-brother. He graduated from High School in Baton Rouge in 1985. The 'rents still live in Livingston Parrish .

I lived in Livingston parish all of my life (except for those years I lived on campus in college) until 2002.
I have to admit I love living in NC more because it is so beautiful, but I do miss the Louisiana food!!!!
