The Golf Cart Thread

I don't know why, but I never thought to take our dog for a ride on the golf cart. Maybe because we've only ever rented.

2goofycampers, I love those pictures. Where can I get that Fort Wilderness sticker? Do they still sell it at the Trading Post? I need one.

Can't buy them stickers on our buggy. Very dear friends had them made and and gifted them. I agree, they are reely cool stickers,

What is it with dogs and golf carts? Our dog knows two words for sure.

I can call her name and she comes running.

I can say the word "golf cart" and she runs and jumps up on the seat.

Best of both worlds. They get to ride and feel the breeze in their ears!

Well. Old Barney Fife had to bring this thread back. It used to be so much fun. The boys and Andrea are eight years older than the very first post (that post was under my old disboards name). That golf cart lives at the beach with its new owner but we have another now. We plan to return this December and I'm going to try my best to get another picture.

This is great. My sister has 4 kids & 2 adults and they all pile up in the 4 seater. This is a perfect solution.

This is our cart, nothing fancy. We are trying to get our dog used to riding in it, as we are taking him with us for the first time this year.

We love to decorate it! I just got some Easter stuff for our March trip.

I just saw that Hancock Fabrics is going out of business and have a big sale going on. If you're gonna need foam or heavy vinyl material for golf cart seats get it now.

Hey everyone. My apologies for not being around in a few years. I got to thinking about a guy on here who built a rig, basically out of PVC tubing that was a hybrid pedal/electric 2 seater. I really want to build my own now, but can't find that guy's posts from the last time I was around. Any ideas on how to find him? I did searches with various related words with no luck. Thanks in advance if you got any leads.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life. Its been over 8 years since the beginning. That was actually our last visit to the Fort.

We're going back in December and although a different cart, I plan to take a pic of the family in the same spot, only 8+ years later.

DH added more LED lights to the inside of the roof.....our cart is probably visible from outer space!!

Cant wait to decorated her for Halloween.

Thanks for keeping the thread going. Golf carts are as much a part of the Fort as anything for us. Our upcoming trip in December will end an almost nine year absence we've had from the Fort. Can't wait to just go "looping" in our Club Car.
