the golden ticket -- new one in post #14

here is what I came up with

the board measures 21" x 25 "

wonka's is 3 3/4 in
golden ticket is 2 1/2 "
charlie is 4 1/2 " each ticket will have the 5 kids names on them

will also be adding some squiggles on the bottom to represent the words of the agreement...does the sizes and placement look right???

need to get okay from the teacher before I can finish up the other 4

teacher is happy with the letter sizes but not the edge, asked for more definition, but that was the best scissor design I had...do you think if I drew on somemore along the edge it would help "dress it up" a bit??

yes she wants more of a waved edge...thanks for all the ideas, will have to work on something tomorrow....with five to do, want to make it easy...
I hurt my thumb from all the cutting though....hurts on the under side and the end of my thumb feels numb

About the edges, how about adding a black paper behind it, to make the edging stand out more? You know, like a mat, but not all on the back, just on the edge? I'm having a hard time articulating.

we will be adding thicker cardboard behind with the black edge....then putting xmas twinkle lights all around it too!

will play around with it today.....my thumb is still bothering me

wish I would of remembered I had the punch before I hand cut all 5 of them...punching is going much quicker and no pain to my thumb!
