There is nothing subtile or complex about her, she just plows in and bowls over the scene. .
I gotta disagree with you there.

I thought she was amazing playing someone who was so hard and tough to some people, and then at times you would see how unsure of herself she was, how vulnerable and scared. I really don't feel that anyone else could duplicate S.B.'s Carly. I always thought she was well deserving of her 3 emmys. Can you seriously explain what you see??

I never saw any vulnerablilty with Sarah Brown's Carly. To me she was just a mean bully who was vindictive, obnoxios and immature. Tamera Braun really brought a softer side of Carly in for me. She was still crazy but with her I saw more of a motivation. Sarah Brown's Carly was always so nasty to everyone. That is how I find Claudia. And why I don't like Claudia.
There is also no difference to me between her Carly and Claudia, they are the same nasty vile woman.
I'll make no excuses, I despised Sarah Brown's Carly. I hate the character and even stopped watching for awhile when it first became the Carly and Sonny show because I couldn't stand to watch her.
