Sorry to see Drew Garrett leaving the role of Michael.. I thought he was doing a pretty good job. The new kid looks younger.. that is ok.
I have been taking time to listen to Alexis and I do not hear any problem with Alexis saying Ethan...
Just wondering if GH should be renamed The Sonny Corinthos Show???.. as he is involved in EVERYTHING... geez.. yes I am frustrated with this...
Helena tampers with them, too.Didn't Nic get a 2nd paternity test done? Aren't they still waiting for those results?
I read this on the CriticalList website;
Autumns take;
This week again fell flat on it's face. It saddens me to see how such good acting talent gets such lame scripts to work with. Sweeps are suppose to be heart stopping, and mentally challenging.They are suppose to leave you with a sense of committment to follow watching the show when the sweeps end. Sonny's trial is a very serious storyline, but it is not being treated as such. A well written script for this story can yank the emotion right out of you..It is basically a filler for this sweep seson. How can you seriously follow and accept Sonny's plight when the dialogue is weak and soft? He's a mob boss, where is the strength? Michael's lines are dull, whining and recycled from the last time he has on camera. I would love to see Drew Garret be anything else but the whiner Michael's biological father AJ was. Please give this guy something else to do beside whine a about killing Claudia. Viewers cannot be expected to respect the storylines when the writer themselves do not take them seriously. Does anyone care about Sonny's situation when the writers invent a kangaroo court with jurors who would NEVER in real life be selected? Viewers are not that stupid. Why watch the show when your mentality is mocked by the writers? There was so MUCH that could have been added more dramatically to this storyline. The drama of the upcoming trial played fully against Dante being shot. The emotions could have really exploded on screen. GH's actors are really the best there are, they are used to great scripts and belting out high quality work. It has been lacking for so long that medocrity is now acceptable..No wonder Anthony Geary takes a half year vacation. His air time is turning into pension work. I miss Luke. A rowdy scheming lovable player from the word go...The storyline with Kristina was beautifuly done. Kudos for the actors .I cant wait for Sam to get hold of Kiefer!

They've taken this whole storyline with Kristina and really messed it up.
Blaming someone else. I don't know...it's just wrong. Especially given they have those public service annoucements.
Do the right thing..help yourself. You don't deserve this. YET...we're going to do the wrong thing, blame someone else.
I think they could have used the situation to place a light on the relationship between, Alexsis and Kristina. Which, they have done...to an ever so slight..extent. Insteand it involves Sonny, his past with his mother, and his need for revenge.
Don't get me wrong, any parent would want to hurt who ever did this to their child. Only this guy has got to be the DUMBEST mobster who ever shipped a coffee bean.The story reverts to "poor Sonny"...instead of keeping it's focus on THE VICTIM.

The ONLY good part of it's taking that turn..is Luke.
I think he's amazing. Telling Sonny not to touch his son.
Elizabeth...I can't even go there. It's old...it's been done, and done, and done. To the point that frankly, I don't care who the child belongs to, who it's raised as. Just doesn't matter. I don't even watch the scenes with her any longer. Too, boring, and repetitive.
At some point...with all of her falling in and out of love with Lucky..and having been pregnant. 5 times, it would have been nice if they had her grow a spine. Be a strong woman...not the constant damsel in distress, yet again.
I agree with the poster who said they should not have written her real life pregnancy into the story.
I did enjoy the scene between Lulu and Carly last week.(Thurs. I think?) When Lulu came to the realization that Maxie might actually die.
She told Carly, that she thought the situation between Dante and Sonny meant she couldn't lean on her. Carly responded with "no guy/man will ever come between us" (or something to that effect). I thought Carly really stepped up..and in that moment was a mother figure to her cousin. The writers and the actress have moved Carly's character foward, and you've watched her grow up over the years. Impulsive as ever, true to her character...but somehow, now...more mature.
Wish they woud do something similiar with the character of Elizabeth, who seems to remain in a perpetual state of teenage girlhood, only now with a bunch of kids.She could be Kristina's best friend.
