spinelli (aka, the jackal) because he is the biological father, and he married ellie (yes, ellie spinelli lol)
maxie and spinelli had an on again off again relationship for years. they almost married. he adored her (after first loving Lulu (who he called "the orignal blonde one")
he called maxie "maximista." and adored her.. she cheated on him with franco. could never forgive herself and felt she didn't deserve spanelli's love.
by the way spinelli was a BIG fan of Jason.. who he called "stone cold". he had a nickname for everyone.. he is a computer genius.
anyway maxie was to be a surrogate for lulu and dante. she was pregnant with THEIR baby.. but she had a miscarriage on new years eve. she felt like a failure.. "why can't I ever do anything right?"
meanwhile spinelli and ellie were to meet at the rooftop of GH (ala empire state buiding) and she got hit by a car on the way over, spinelli thought she didn't love him cause she didn't show up. so he drank a whole bottle of peppermint schanpp.s maxie was there at the top of GH, to mourn her failure as a person, .. they ended up sleeping together (surprise, surprise.)
wiouldn't you know it? she got pregnant. but she didn't want dante and lulu to know she lost THEIR baby (chasing a dog. lulu kept accusing maxie of not being careful). so when she found out she was pregnant again, she pretended that it was THEIR baby, not hers and spinellis.. she thoguth she was being sacrificial.
spinelli did NOT know this.
Britt, however, did. as did BRad. cause britt offered him the job ellie wanted if he kept the secret,. (now we all know that britt actually kept one of the embryos she took from lulu and implanted herself, which is now lulu and dante's "rocko" confused yet? lol)
at the baby's christening brad came forward to "do the right thing" and announced that the baby is really maxie's, not lulus...
maxie fell in love with the baby, and told spinelli, whoe kept it a secret (before the christening.. because he didn't want to hurt lulu.. even though it killed him to give up his own child.
spinelli and maxie ended up trying to get custody of the baby("connie") from dante and lulu. the judge decided that maxie was a liar and ufit.. but it wasn't spinelli's fault, so he could have his daughter.. it broke dante and lulu's heart. and spinelli and ellie left town cause she got a great job offer in another stae (of course) so it wouldn't be so hard on maxie (cause she wasn't even allowed to see the little girl.. now named "georgie" after maxie's dead sister.
then lulu and danter found out that Britt's baby "ben" (who she lied and said was brad's) (implanted, brad is gagy).. was really their embyo.
any questions?? lol!!!! so if maxie gets visitation, or custody, would ellie have to give up her new job in seattle and she and spinelli be forced to move back to Port Charles?
I wish! I miss spinelli and his nicknames. who else can tell me some of his nicknames? he called Carly theValkerie? which I never understood.
