The full time job is Director of HR for a manufacturing company and the consulting gig is HR for a mental health practice.




Um...I think I need a geogaphy lesson.

I was talking to MAK MOM....did I quote you by accident..

I live in SJ...she works near Philly, lives in Pa...

I was just telling her I live about 20 mins from Philly, right over the bridge in SJ...

Did I make your head spin? I do that sometimes with my explanations, just ask my DH...

The temp agency said it is for 3-6 months.

it doesn't add up right, as when I got there...I had my own office, own cocmuter, my name was on the wall, got my own email address...etc

Plus, I am doing a lot of stuff for receptionist, as they don;t want her getting up as much..


So, wouldn't that sounds permanent to you???

I haven;t said anything yet...as this is only my 4 th week there.

I will discuss it with them after about 3 months...

Yes, I do want to look into becoing a travel agent...going to start really looking into next spring, once I figure out if DS pre-K is all day or half day, as I have no idea at the moment...

So you have your own, office, computer, name plate, etc? It does sound like they are welcoming you the way they would a regular employee. I think you're right about checking in at about 3 months. That will give them plenty of time to see how much they need you!
