I have noticed there are starting to be quite a few of us who do the FIRM. Anyone want to join me in a weekly thread where we can discuss the FIRM. For instance questions about a hard move that we can't get down. I know that the weekly Chat comittment thread really holds me accountable. Maybe this will motivate a few of you to get FIRMing!!

Oh Melanie, you know you can count me in!!!:hyper:

That sounds good to me. I love my FIRM workouts and a specific thread sounds like a good idea!

Melanie, since you are our leader, have you got a cute name for our group? :)

Ok, lets think of a name.

??
WISHing to be FIRM -

Everyone else think of a name and we can pick the one that sounds the best. I am not to creative tonight- Its getting late!

I'll be joining soon - I just ordered my Firm 2 workout video and sculpting bar.

For a name....how about....................Firming for Life....or Wishers that Firm....

~Amanda

PS - I like Melanie's better then mine.

You can count me in, too. I do the Firm at least 3-4 times a week (sometimes more). I also try to walk. I'd love to be in on any discussions (when I can). Seems like my computer time is getting few and far between these days.

Love to chat with you all, tho.

Thanks for the idea.

Lissa

Mind if I join in? I'm going to be buying one or two firm dvd's over the weekend. I'm anxious to try them for something new to do for exercise. I hope I can do them!

Hey Cinmell,

Just remember not to get discouraged at first. They are not easy to do. The first time I did one, I couldn't keep up and I just stood there laughing and thinking to myself.............are these people crazy. The great thing about the FIRM is how I actually look forward to doing them. They are fun and the more you do them the more you love them. They are hard, and you really feel good after doing one. You will learn the steps as you go on, and I still am learning them. I mess up all the time, but I get better and better each time I do them.

I went down to the smaller purple step last night on the step moves and it really helped. I was tripping over my feet and couldn't keep up. I did great last night with the smaller step. I will keep it like that till I can add the blue portion.

I'd love to join in your discussions, too! :) I have been doing my FIRM workouts for about 3-4 weeks now & am finally starting to get the hang of some of them.

Count me in!

I would love to be part of a FIRM thread. I've been a FIRM devotee for over a year & a half and just added 2 new tapes. Since I see the FIRM as a permanent part of my life, I've started to think about switching to DVDs rather than VHS tapes. My suggestion for a group name is "FIRM all over"

I am interested in buying some FIRM workout DVD's. Can you recommend some to me? I need a cardio & firming workout. Thanks sooooooo much!!! :D

I don't have a name for our group - I'm not good at that sort of thing but I will support the thread! I work out with the tapes just about everyday.

I like Melanie's suggestion but I also like Sue's too. The only thing I could think of was WISHing for a FIRM Fanny or FIRM Fanny WISH Club but those are just silly. Any more suggestions for a name?

I would like to join in too! I have been doing the FIRM vidoes for 6 weeks now and I love them!

A co-worker, who is a life long exerciser, gave me a "Collage Video Guide to Exercise Videos". I thing the website is CollageVideo.com They don't have the best prices, but they have an impressive assortment of workout materials, not just the FIRM. But the real advantage they offer is the description of the workout. They tell you how long the workout runs & whether that time is adjustable. They rate the impact & choreography levels. They describe the areas emphasized, etc. I think it is really helpful because it helps you avoid buying a video that is either too easy or hard, emphasized the wrong body areas or just isn't you. For example, I am not a big choreography exerciser, which is why I like the FIRM so much.

Thanks for the website address Sue. I'm going to check it out. I really want to start focusing on upper body. I gotta get the girlfriends down a cup or two and I will be in the market for some FIRM work outs that focus on upper body.

Hi guys,
This link is a great listing of all FIRM workouts from oldest to newest with breakdown of each video and reviews. Great link!
FIRM Info

Later tonight, I will post a helpful list that one of the firm instructors posted on the FIRM believers website. It listed the different kinds of workouts - there are three C&S (cardio plus sculpt), Sculpt & Cardio. She tells you how often to do each kind. Then it breaks down each video and what each one is considered.Great info. Will send later.

Off to have Sushi!

I would love to start Firming... it sounds great but which one should I start with? Thanks?
