The FIRM

Hey Cinmell, just remember not to get discouraged at first. They are not easy to do. The first time I did one, I couldn't keep up and I just stood there laughing and thinking to myself.............are these people crazy.

WOW! I just bought the body sculpting system with the fanny lifter. I started with the cardio sculpt video. OMG, I can't do these moves. I'm laughing more than working out. I made it thru 26 minutes of it and now I'm just watching it to see what's coming next! I have no coordination whatsoever! I hope I catch on to this. My thighs do hurt but otherwise I feel like I didn't do much. I don't know if I should just do my WATP or call it quits for the day and start again tomorrow.

I have a question for all of you FIRMers, how long did it take you before you could actually start doing the moves like the people in the video?

I'll let you know when I've got it down :teeth:

Just kidding...I've always just done the best I can. After doing it for a while you sort of catch on. You still get a workout just trying. I've had mine since last summer and I still have trouble with the third cardio part of BSS1 (not the "samba" part...after that with the step-up left, step-right...step then lunge (with arms yet!)

I go for a sip of water then ;)

It's so true, they are really hard.

Actually, I still can't keep up 100%, and depending on the day, sometimes I do better than others. Some day's I get it pretty darn close, other days, like last night I just can't get my feet to cooperate. The more you do it, and the better you get you will work up a sweat. If you can't keep up with the moves, just make up your own moves and keep moving till you can jump in. I used to do my own step moves when I couldn't keep up. Now I can mostly complete them, but still get lost or can't quite keep up. Try moving to the smaller purple step if you have trouble on the larger blue one. That helps me sometimes.

The more I do it, the more I feel it too, so that must mean I am getting a much better workout because I can do it better. The first time I ever did one, I didn't feel like I did much either. The next few times I started sweating.

Did you like the tempo and the way they were sequenced? I like that it changes and you don't get bored.

Yes, I liked the changes. It was good because it was different moves so the time did go by kind of quickly. Just when I thought I had a move down, she would put them all together and that's when I got lost. I felt like I was 10 years old in dance class again trying to learn steps! :teeth:

Hi everyone

Today I tried the AB Sculpt video and I loved it! I could really feel it. Unlike the cardio sculpt I tried yesterday, I was able to finish the tape. :D
