I know you'll do a great job!
You've worked hard and deserve a great experience
Long story short...you have to send it back to them for battery replacements...seems to be the only disadvantage to the Polar monitors.

....Pilates is interesting. First of all, there are LOTS of folks out there both in health clubs and on videos that claim to be teaching pilates when in fact they really aren't. Unfortunately, there are loads of uncertified instructors as well
. With that said, there are also MANY very legitimate instructors out there. Also...within pilates...there are different methods. For instance, Classical Pilates is true to what Joseph Pilates developed all those years ago and stays very very true to his core philosophy. I was trained in classical and believe 100% in the effectiveness of those exercises. However, that is not to say that you can't mix it up a little
. I like to throw in some twists and use of props (circle, weights, bands, stability ball etc) to keep it interesting! If you can't find a studio...or prefer to work at home...I would recommend anything by Stott Pilates...she is very classical and will give you a solid foundation. It's not glossy, glitzy, high powered or anything like that...it's not like crunch. BUT...and I have tried EVERYTHING...if you stick to classical form you will develop longer and leaner muscles guaranteed. I've seen a huge change in my body since I've been religiously doing pilates and focusing on each movement and integrating the breath. It's not about quantity of exercises but quality each and every time. It truly does make a huge difference!
OK...sorry about the Pilates lecture there LOL!
. I remembered you had a problem w/ the polar a while back. Glad you could help!!
. Other than that just busy with the kids and the new school year!!!! I'll post a full training update on Sunday!
have you recovered from last night yet? It does totally stink to see immature, egotistical, selfish people like that win half a million dollars....but I guess that's why we watch....hmmm....that reminds me....when are we trying out for Amazing Race??
Nope...haven't recovered. Bye Zach
. But I have to say that the competitions were impressive. I'll give ED credit for hangin' tough during that bunny hop thing. And he did well on the last quiz. With that said...Zach did become quite a player in the last few weeks so I give him props for that. Dani kind of fell apart...but she performed the rest of the season far better than anyone else!!! I still think they aren't what they claimed to be
. But who knows....gameplay or not they just aren't likeable.
. I guess he's lost his Jasmine/Cruella to Hercules errr Nick?
BTW...her ex-boyfriend Kris is/was Aladdin at Disneyland. I guess he's lost his Jasmine/Cruella to Hercules errr Nick?

Hang in there with that nasty cold/allergy thing you've got going on
Back off of that run tomorrow if necessary
:
But I got out there and did my 8 Mile Long Run in 1:19:30 for a 9:56 avg mph. 9:37/9:32/9:34/10:07/10:25/10:13/10:11/9:49. Not too bad and fairly consistent. I ran the whole thing b/c stopping to walk made my cold feel worse for some reason LOL.
. I taught my first pilates class and had a nice group of 6 people there!
.
You ran 8 miles despite having this nasty cold. I hope you are feeling better.
.
for you through your tough week.
