The FINAL (?!) Jodi Arias thread (Penalty Phase retrial verdict)

Jodi's mom is in denial because would could imagine having a daughter who slaughtered her boyfriend? There are no words. I think she did the best she could with the circumstances. I highly doubt she thinks Jodi is innocent. Jodi is a killer and she knows it. I'm hoping for both families that there can be healing all around.

Re-watched Wilmott's speech to the judge. Jodi was and is this awesome person except for those TWO MINUTES in her life. Seriously?? What she did in those TWO MINUTES was horrific. And let's not forget how she PLANNED it, drove there, carried out the brutal TWO MINUTES, tried to cover it up, lied, and on and on. "TWO MINUTES" my ***.

And in her post sentencing interview, Wilmott says she doesn't know why this case got any more attention than any other. Really? The crime was brutal. The camera took pictures of the crime. Jodi went on TV, primping herself, smiling, giving wacky explanations and lies, and stating NO JURY WILL CONVICT ME, then put herself out there over and over again torturing his family. THAT'S why Wilmott. Idiot.

Wilmot knows why, she likes the drama as much as Jodi. I am surprised that Juan did not come out have the last word from what Jodi said. That we did not change our story and the shot came last. And jodi has been the only one who changed her story. That would really would have pissed her off/.

I don't know if she can be there, if she waived her right to be there today, but who knows. Not sure why she'd want to attend, unless it's just an opportunity to get out of prison for a few hours. I was chatting with an xray tech in an ER a few months back, and she said that I would't believe the people who swallow things like utensils ON PURPOSE, and I said like who??? Prisoners! They'll do anything to get some time out of prison. So I guess attending a restitution hearing would be less painful.

BTW...starting in 1/2 hour on HLN, there are special Nancy Grace episodes showing the police interrogations, in case you didn't get your JA fill today. Or Nancy Grace for that matter! LOL

Prisoners do all kinds of stuff. I know so many people who who work in prisons. Some of it is real gross.

She has gotten older. I doubt a new mug shot will have that same smile on it. She is in a lot of fear right now, as she has no idea what she is really in for in a prison situation. I hope for her sake she just keeps her mouth quiet and let things alone. She won't get a new trial. I wonder who her new atty.'s will be? Funny how nurmi asked to be released from right after the sentencing. He wants away from her and now.
