I know some of y'all are interested in Aaron Hernandez, just saw this:
TMZ obtained a letter, which it confirmed was from Hernandez, verbally attacking someone for criticizing him in a letter she sent him.
Hernandez, who's serving a life sentence for murder, suggests three ways the person should kill herself, including tying a cinderblock to her ankles and jumping into a deep body of water, hanging herself or tying a powerful firecracker to her face and lighting it.

The letter is at the link.

How do folks explain that Jodi has anything to do with this audio tape leak?

He's such a classy guy. ;)

I thought you were gonna say the bag burst and frozen peas did like this and rolled every where: :jumping1: :rotfl:

I'm very anxious to hear Juan on Dr Phil's, I do hope he tells us things we don't already know.

And thanks for the update on the sexter, I'm glad they're allowing that in. There's no reason to keep thatout, hell, we want to know exactly how that went down.

Don't mention plumber, I've gone over a year now and if I want to see Benito, I'll go to his business to see him.

Lordy, are you watching all 10 seasons of Columbo?? You are addicted! :lmao:
So that's what those are! Peas that fell out of some poor recovering person's ice pack! LOL DH and I had a brainstorm afterwards…put the bag in a Ziploc bag. Duh! Live and learn.
Pea accident is WAY better than a pee accident :p
Good Morning! Well looks like Jodi is in a little bit of trouble….

The State vs Jodi Arias ~ Travis Alexander murder trial
18 hrs ·

News filtering through - ‪#‎JodiArias‬ is on lockdown for the leaked jail call with rapper Kareem Williams
It's like getting another Christmas present! Poor Jodes. Life is SO unfair after you brutally murder someone! :charac2:
There is a hearing on Friday at 1:30 est time for Harris. For anyone interested , the Medina sentencing is scheduled for Friday as well. That was an interesting trial for sure.
Thanks. I'll try to remember to watch Harris on Friday.
How do folks explain that Jodi has anything to do with this audio tape leak?
I have wondered that myself. :confused3

So I have some questions for everyone:

1) Did you watch the Steven Avery documentary? If so, what did you think? I watched the first episode a few weeks ago. I'm not sure I'll continue. It was definitely one sided, and I get why that is…their purpose is to show what was wrong with the investigation, and not to ultimately conclude guilt or innocence. What bothers me is hearing from other sources how wrongly some things are presented in the documentary, such as the cat incident (which makes me sick to even think about) which in the documentary sounds like a "mistake" by a kid vs the brutal disgusting actions of a vile young man. And while I don't think that incident proves anything about whether or not he murdered that young woman, it does make me not want to waste my time on potentially manipulated "facts" over a 10 episode documentary.

2) Are you going to watch the OJ series? I don't plan to. I want to say that I absolutely won't but I am so freaking bored with this recovery I might find myself watching. For me, I saw it all play out over 20 years ago, was disgusted by it then, so why watch some Hollywood version of it? Dr. Phil had Nicole Brown's sister on today, along with Ron Goldman's father and sister, and the guy who wrote the book that was made into this series. And the one thing about OJ that I could watch over and over and over again was the clip of him looking weak, wimpy, and scared when he was in court for his current crimes.

3) Anyone interested in Robert Durst? Did you watch the HBO series The Jinx? What did you think of it? I didn't watch...I don't have HBO. I'm watching the 48 Hours that I recorded about him. It's amazing that he was found not guilty of chopping up that neighbor. He's supposed to be extradited to California by August to face murder charges in the death of his friend Susan Berman. I would watch that, although I wouldn't be surprised if he's found not guilty.

No I don't plan watching either one of those trials. Did any of you watch Medina trial? He was so acclimated sp? he kept handing his atty notes to ask. It was hilarious.

Oh, and UR...I AM addicted to Columbo! Every morning while I drink my coffee and have my breakfast (and go online, and play solitaire...) I watch the Patty Duke show and then Columbo. :) I learned on Columbo that California doesn't have poison ivy. Who knew? :) It's amusing and definitely entertaining to see him solve these far fetched murder plots. Like the police commissioner who murders his wife by drowning her in a bubble bath and then throwing her in the pool, not thinking that soap is going to show up in her lungs? smh But I love it! LOL I'm going to go through withdrawal after this recovery when I won't be spending so much time parking my ***!

Oh, and there are some really great guest murderers! Like William Shatner, Johnny Cash, Faye Dunaway, George Hamilton, etc. They're great to watch!

Yes, I watched the Steven Avery doc, it was very interesting despite it being one sided. The part that is so unjust is the questioning of Brendon Dassey and the circumstances behind his "confession." His attorney should be disbarred and run out of the country along with that investigator/social worker whoever the hell that was that made Dassey fill out the paperwork describing/drawing exactly how it happened when it didn't even happen that way. Scum, they're scum. And honestly, having been privy to seeing this kind of stuff happening in my previous career, um, I just have a bad attitude about the State and rules of evidence along with some of these half wit judges called the justice system.

I agree with you about the OJ series, saw it in real time (every single day for months), however my wife has scheduled it so I guess I'll be watching. :lmao:

And Durst, yes, The Jinx was really good. Durst is a character and he probably did kill his wife and then later his friend, Susan. We know he killed the neighbor. I just wonder if he'll live to go to trial in CA. And yeah, I wouldn't be surprised to see him acquitted, he can afford the best justice money can buy.

Here's my addiction/confession: every morning after I watch the first hour or so of news I switch it to a couple of hours of Andy Griffith, my favorite law enforcement officer. :happytv:
And I also have all the episodes on DVD. :lmao:

Here's the latest on that Michelle Carter case which was in court today (just remembered):
BOSTON (AP) — A lawyer for a Massachusetts teen charged with manslaughter for allegedly encouraging her boyfriend to kill himself has asked a judge to put the case on hold.

Michelle Carter‘s lawyer argued Tuesday in Taunton Juvenile Court that the criminal case shouldn’t move forward until the state’s highest court decides on an appeal of a judge’s refusal to dismiss the manslaughter charge.

The state Supreme Judicial Court is expected to hear Carter’s appeal in May.

Mare, how much longer are you laid up? I hope you've been able to see that granddaughter, you know it won't be long until she's in school full time, better grab this time.

I am DVRing the OJ thing. I lived through it too, but I LOVE John Travolta and Cuba! So going to see what it's all about.

I am recording the OJ mini-series, I will watch it.
Kim Goldman is going to be on Today this morning, she's not happy about it at all.

Durst is a wackado alright, nuttier than a fruitcake. I think he is guilty as heck. He thought his $$$ would get him out of it.

I didn't get into Avery, I don't know why, I usually love this stuff.
Maybe I should try again.

Hope everyone is well!

Both of them do a great job portraying Bob Shapiro and OJ, I mean Travolta is super good!! I wasn't all that excited about watching it, but now I can't wait for the next episode.

You got that right on Durst, he's way out there.

Thanks for the heads up on Kim Goldman, she's about to come on.

I just saw her too, breaks my heart, she isn't asking for much. She just wanted to have her brother remembered though all this tragedy. He has always been put on the back burner, because of the celebrity of the others. He was a good man, who tried to save Nicole.

Exactly!! I'm so glad they pursued the civil suit just so more facts came out. There was a documentary some years ago, a monologue given by one of those jurors that was so revealing. It was a black woman who said he cut her blankety blank head off. It was called Juror Number 5, here's an article about it: http://articles.latimes.com/1999/may/26/entertainment/ca-40974

I was always so sad for this family.

Thanks. Going to read now.

I know it was hard on the Goldman's. I did not see any of his trial really. Only the verdict. But I hope that it gives them a little comfort he is in jail and not walking around. I know its not much.

Remember Harris in two days for the hearing. 1:30 eastern time. Vancallis has closings on friday.

I hope you guys see this. Justin Harris is changed to 9 am est. Just saw that this evening.

Of course, same time as VanCallis closing.
Have you watched the whole Vancallis trial? This is a tough one, I think he did it, but with this jury and no dna, fingerprints , nothing this is going to be tough. I think they may come back with a hung jury or letting him go with out much to go on.

Good Morning, you are up with the birds!!

I am hoping my local news channel will carry Medina live.
Yes, I have watched the whole trial, and I do think he is guilty.
I just think he was really smart, he may have sat through his father's trial and learned a few things abut DNA evidence.
I found his GF's testimony truthful (yes, she was kinda out there) but I think he abused her just as she said he did.
Too many coincidences for me, the shoes and the shoebox both disappeared at the same time, there were important papers in there too.
They lived like filthy pigs and yet, he decides to clean shoes and motorcycle helmet in the middle of the night? He told her he messed up, nope he did it.
His brother was a liar too, covering for him.
I hope this jury does the right thing for this poor family.

Being on the west coast I have to be up as the times are for the east coast. I think she is truthful. His brother no way. I hope the jury does the right thing, but we sure have seen jury's go sideways before. If you want to talk during the trial I will be in and out. Wild about trial should have Medina. Did you see that one? It got to be so laughable during his trial…..:rotfl2:
