Hey Fellow Illinoisians, I found a DIS'er who is looking to do a Chicagoland DIS meet. I PM'ed her/him and asked if they wanted to work on this and get it going. If anyone is interested here is the thread: Chicagoland DIS meet

Your little cousins are absolutely adorable in their costumes. Good job on the pumpkin and the halloween decorations. One thing I don't miss is carving pumpkins.

Those two are my babies. They live across the hall from me and I spoil them rotten. I forgot to add the picture of their big sister but she was a flapper. I'll put that one up later. Up until the day before Halloween all I had in the way of decorations was one dinky string of orange lights on my balcony and a light up jack-o-lantern. So I'm going to make up for it with Christmas. I already bought my first set of ornaments.

For anyone who does not know, and most of the DIS'ers probably don't, I recently moved into my first place of my own. My parents own an apartment building and an apartment opened up. Last month I moved into said apartment with my boyfriend of 7 years. We were going to move out to the Oak Brook, IL area next year since my office is moving out by the mall. My mom's theory was "If your going to live in sin, You might as well do it at home and get a break on the rent." My mom kills me. So, I'm very excited to show off my first place whenever I have the chance.

I just sent a email out the the other travelers in the group tell them we may want to check-in a day earlier than planned so that we can still get the Free Dining for the duration of our stay. I also suggested we stay at CBR so we can get the Dining Plan and not just the Free CS like we would if we stayed at POP.

Think about switching the schedule around to this:

Arrive friday June 2: Check-in, swim/check out resort. DTD, shopping and dinner

OR Depending on time of arrival: Check-in, nap, MK for Wishes and Dinner. ADR: Liberty Tree Tavern

Saturday, June 3: ADR at O'hana for Stitch breakfast
EPCOT ADR at Teppan Edo. Illuminations at night (if they are doing it on saturday

Sunday, June 4: DHS: Star Wars WEEKENDS! ADR: either 50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi

Monday, June 5: One or both of the Kingdoms, maybe AK during the day, MK at night for Wishes and night time parade

OR

Monday, June 5: Island of Adventure for WWoHP

Tuesday, June 6: IoA OR Universal Studios

Wednesday, June 7: Home

Also told people I would like to book the trip and put down the deposit soon.

You're welcome! I'm glad you are getting a deal. We are missing free dining by a week, and it is killing me! Especially since we had to cut out the Universal part of the trip. I want to see Harry Potter!

Update on the DIS meet I'm sort of planning. The OP of the Chicagoland Dis meet Post said that she was interested in checking out the Doorway to Dream showroom here in town, so I did some research I found out it's located in Woodfield Mall. I figure Woodfield Mall may be a good place to have a DIS meet. I haven't been there in a few years and it would be a good opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done and see the mall decorations. So Here's the info on the DIS meet:

You have NO idea how I hate that mall. But if Mark isn't working that weekend (I know he has a trade show in town but not sure what date it starts), we will be there.

Nope, Woodfield is fine. I just don't shop there because of the taxes and the crowds. But that is fine. You work it out and if we can be there we will.

DF and I debated doing one for FL residents but the day they selected was kind of nasty rain weather so no one showed up (including ourselves). I should see if they selected another date.

I'm SO IN!!!!!!!!! BRB while I write super long comments on like...everything you posted. I read up to Quinn's bio and you guys seem so super awesome.

BTW, Most of your favourites, are kinda my faves too. I love the LEGO series, but more into Indiana Jones, and Azkaban is my fave of the HP books, and I LOOOOVE Storm, but Nightcrawler's my fave, and STITCH IS MY LOVER. I have 6 plushies of him, and more.

I'm pretty much going to geek out here, ok? Ok.

Ok I didn't want to sounds like a stalker on your TR but YOU'RE AWESOME TOO!! Geeky girls are the best. I love Stitch too!! So geek out ALL you want. Yea my friends and I are HUGE geeks. We go to an anime con around Chicago called Anime Central every year.
