All I can say is don't miss the season finale... it's going to be good.

The family deserve a ton and they are getting it :)

preshi--do you know when it will air???

I am completely addicted to this show!

I enjoyed last night's episode too
when is the finale
can't wait

Ty can come to my house any day and send me to Disney.

I loved the one with the 3 boys and mom and thier dad was in Iraq. The dad came home and surprised them and they boys said their dad was the best surprise of all. That was a tear jerker.

I agree, this is a great show! I think I like it better than Trading Spaces! :)

Always have a tissue close by too, just in case.

One of my favorites was last week - the son in the wheel chair and an elevator was put in.

Meagan - are you saying that they actually found someone around here for the show? If so, I'm surprised! Can you tell us any more?

The house is in Livermore...the family is very deserving but thats really all I can say. I don't doubt the media will pick up on the story unless they have some sort of agreement with the network, but I refuse to say anything else, I don't want to ruin anything :)

That is what you meant to say, right? I must say, his yelling is a little annoying, but he does look good with the shirt off.

It is supposed to air in May, I'll post the exact date when I find out :)

Cool! I am excited Trading Spaces home free has concluded so I can now start watching this show with gusto! Plus, being from the Bay Area, it will be fun to watch someone from that area get a boost. :D

Uh ya, but you can't really admit that on this nice family dis boards

I have a question about the program. When you take into consideration the work done on the homes, the new furnishings, the labor involved and the trip the family take, that's got to be a lot of money. I'm no tax expert, but usually the IRS comes knocking on people's door when they get something for nothing. Do these people have to pay tax on this? I would think they do. I would bet that some of the makeovers, are worth a lot of money. How are these poor people paying the tax? I'd hate to think they will lose their nice homes because they can't pay the tax. I know that none of the winners of the HGTV Dream Home contest have been able to keep the homes they've won because of the tax liability. Just wondering.

Good question but I know there is no way they would stick this family with a ton of taxes it goes against the whole point of the show.
