here, i want to post me review 4 me school paper fer pirates and i need opinions everyone!!...

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Based on the Walt Disney World attraction, this film is anything but the typical, swashbuckling, X marks the spot, “Arr, me mateys,” search for buried treasure, pirate movie. The crew of the most fearsome pirate ship in the Caribbean, the Black Pearl, are more than just evil, they are cursed. Captained by the vicious Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), the cursed pirates go about wreaking terror in search of the golden medallions that will lift their curse. Along with the stealing the final medallion in peaceful Port Royale, they capture the person who had the medallion, the governor’s daughter, Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightly). The unlikely team of a love-struck, bashful blacksmith, William Turner (Orlando Bloom), and a half-sane, wanted, vengeful, gold-toothed pirate, the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), set out on a quest to find Elizabeth and the Pearl. She often refuses to heed to orders and plays in a league of her own. Keira Knightly portrays Elizabeth well, whining often, but still remaining very likeable. I don't know if you wanted just a critique or a grammar check or what, but I posted below just some changes I'd make (I also work on my school newspaper, but not until 2nd semester). Of course what you decide to do is ultimately up to you. Hope this helps! I also put #1, #2, etc. for notes about a specific passage/sentence.

#1--> Might want to mention something about it being Aztec gold perhaps?

#2--> For grammar purposes and what-not it's not good to set the name of in commas. Ex) My brother, Tim, is a really nice guy. With that sentence, since "Tim" is surrounded by commas, it could be taken out; that's not good with names. A better sentence for that would be: My brother Tim, whose 20 years old, is a really nice guy. The "whose 20 years old part" is nice added info, but not needed. Above, you have the character names set off in commas like I have Tim above. It's a "rule" I learned last year. You don't have to change it if you don't feel you need to; just a suggestion.

great thread ashton! i am currently in the process of cchanging me avatar fer all those who wanted ter know. lol. i am the crazy one fer all those who didn't know. and fer all those who don't know, i like chocolate. chocolate is good. chocolate is yummy. yeahyeah, how is ouatim amanda?? sadly me parents r scurvy and won't let me see it till they see it when it comes out on dvd because of the major violence and "inapropriate stuff" when i argued it's a johnny movie, they simply said "so?" and i said "JOHNNY?!?!?!? HULLO?? i know magix, i am very heavy on adjectives because they are the best part of speech in the english language. being able to use words like "zany" and "sparkling" and "witty" i find to be so much fun. that's why i like poetry. oh yeah, and i be workin' on me on novel too. it's pretty interesting, but i think it's going to end up going nowhere sadly. well this thread is getting long so i will stop now.

ok i am really jealous right now, so jealous i am crying. i was readign these people's reports on the depp zone and they alll like got to see johnny and got his autograph, and he made eye contact with them and they got to talk to him and he talked to them....i am so depressed. the closest i've gotten to him is watching a movie or staring at a pic. woowoo.
my hyper craziness from before has been drained. im depressed. i need more chocolate. and i need a boyfriend so i can get my mind off johnny. grr...

Hello!!!!!!! I'm a little hyper too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finished cleaning the computer room and now I want my best friend, Heather to come over so we can go and see this guy I like at his work!!! I wanna go to the movies, I haven't been in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!! When POTC came out, we went to the movies EVERY weekend from the 1st day POTC came out til about 3 weeks ago!! I wanna go again!!!!!!! :teeth

Yesterday in Writing Class, our teacher said we needed to write a personal essay focusing on our interests and fave activities. Well, I was sitting with Heather and I said "What else can I put under fave activities?" She said Drooling over Orlando Bloom and Good Charlotte, but my # one she said, would be watching POTC!!!!!!! It was sooooo funny!!!!! Well, this seems long, so ttyl!!!!!!!!

Enjoy yer fantasies, friends, and do not spend so much o' yer time worryin' yerselves about boyfriends and such - fer if ye should find yerself one, that be great, but always remember te spend more time figurin' who ye be te yerself rather than who ye be te someone else.
