Like others have suggested, please contact your local Hospice. They were there for my family when my grandmother battled liver cancer. We couldn't have handled her care and passing without them. The Hospice nurses are extraordinary people. My grandmother's nurse would always hug her and tell her she loved her at the end of each visit. The nurse even cried with us as the very end. Hospice will also help you and your mother find the peace that JTB mentioned earlier. Here is a website that Hospice shared with us. I hope you will go to it and find some comfort in the words that are contained there.
