What is an FE? And I notice everyone has DD or DH after their names? What does all of that mean? It seems I have a lot of learning to do

DW = Darling Wife
DS = Darling Son
DD = Darling Daughter

Fish Extenders can be made if you are crafty or bought on Ebay or Etsy. They are like cloth mailboxes that hang from the fish outside your stateroom door. You sign up for a Fish Extender group like this one and then you make or buy something either for each person or one gift per stateroom depending on what you like. People do everything from candy to handmade necklaces, key rings, disney magnets, something special to your hometown, anything you can imagine. Then you place your gifts in the pockets. There is a disboard discussion thread just on fish extenders. Where else but Disney do you buy or make presents for complete strangers! We have never done it before and are so excited to do so. Hope you join us!!

I have alreeady started getting the gifts together. I am planning for more so am getting extras......I am sooooo excited about this. This will be my first time to do this and I know it will add a little extra pixie dust for me. I usually just do for the kids in the rooms as little ifts from tinkerbell as if she flew in and left them a gift before the cruise to welcome them to the ship. but this will be like Tinkerbell treating and welcoming the adults too....

SO FAR THIS FE GROUP IS SMALL. LAST YEAR ON OUR CRUISE IN SEPT WE HAD 160 PEOPLE ON THE LIST IT TOOK ME AWHILE TO HIT ALL THE CABINS. I GOT MY EXERCISE DOING THE FEs ITS FUNNY WHEN YOU RUN INTO OTHERS ON THE SHIP DOING THE SAME THING AT THE SAME TIME. YOU MEET OTHERS IN YOUR GROUP THAT WAY TOO.

I am like a little kid about this now. I have already gotten my FE gifts for the adults. This will be like an early Christmas. The other family that we are bringing is also getting started on her gifts...This will be their first ever cruise of any kind and they have also never been to Disney so this is gonna be extra exciting.

if you or they have any questions please ask. Make sure when you go back to mk to see the fireworks you stand in the circle infront of the castle close enough to see the memories show on the castle just before the fireworks. Then when the fireworks start besure to move back a little. If your standing directly infront of the castle you cant see all the fireworks.

WE WILL BE DOING MICKEYS CHRISTMAS PARTY AGAIN. THATS THE ONLY TIME YOU CAN SEE THE CHRISTMAS PARADE AND THE SPECIAL CHRISTMAS FIREWORKS. AND DEFINATLEY SEE THE OSBORNE LIGHTS AT DHS. GET THERE JUST BEFORE THEY TURN THEM ON. IT GETS VERY CROWDED. THERE ARE HIDDEN MICKEYS IN LIGHTS IN THE MILLIONS OF LIGHTS. THERE IS ALSO 1 HIDDEN HALLOWEEN LIT CAT. ITS TRADITION WHEN THEY PUT UP THE LIGHTS IN LATE SEPT THAT THEY PUT THIS PURPLE LIT CAT SOMEWHERE. NOBODY WILL TELL YOU WHERE IT IS. IF YOUR LUCKY ONE OF THE CMs WILL GIVE YOU A HINT. IVE GOT A PHOTO OF IT FROM LAST DEC. IT BECOMES A GAME TRYING TO FIND IT ALONG WITH ALL THE HIDDEN MICKEYS

I knew about the fireworks and the memories show and definately plan on being there ahead of time for them to see it. It is truly amazing. Just when I think DIsney can't get any better they do something new. I don't think we are going to go to Hollywood Studios this trip. we only have enough time for 3 parks before we go home and I think AK is gonna win over HS. Still debateing on that one. Both have such great resons to go there.
