Hi all! Well I had to go to work early this morning to help with the candy walk (the cutie patooties). Oh and the mom of the lovely "I can make up a great I got hurt story" made her apologize today. I don't think she quite understands what she did. So after work, I stopped at the school, and spoke to the principal. She reassured me that even though this isn't a permanant position, that I would work there in some capacity (she mentioned as a para). What my goal would be is to get my certification and become a teacher. I hope that by knowing my work ethic, etc...She would see that I would make a great teacher. She really wants me to start working there ASAP, so even though I am not hired I am going to talk to my boss tomorrow morning. Then after I got home, I couldn't get on line. Hello, what is up with that? Then, we had a halloween party at the housing development where the IL's live. Yuk, I would have much rather eaten the pot roast. Are there any left overs? I ate really bad today, candy, cake and more candy. Then, we had Awana. Well, our Director didn't show up again, so the Commander (in charge of all clubs) asked me if I would take over. So....Nah....I haven't been at all busy today.

I feel all your prayers for DH, and I really appreciate them. He has heard that he has a good chance this time (as usual ). He should know by Friday. I will keep you posted.

Elaine, glad you are feeling perked up a bit. I am sorry about your mom, I haven't had to go through this. Please know that I am here for you.

Betty, I think that your ideas sounded great.

Jennifer, when did your kitty go missing? I hope he comes home from his adventures. I got my pm for the ornament exchange. Yippee!!

Jodie, I am soooo bummed that you can't go. What was DH thinking? So very typical....my dh got to go to Colorodo for a conference. When was it? The week after school started.

Yes, I know about being shy and all about meets. I pretty much arranged a cruise meet and at the last minute totally didn't go. I am so upset with myself.

I think it would be so much fun to have a yaya meet.

Hi Michele! Not much. Jodie almost got to come to Ohio, but DH is going to get a visit from the Enforcers armed with bananas, cheese doodles, and wet soapy washcloths. Want to come?

I told that story, by the way ladies, at work, and we decided that it was a generation gap thing. All of us over 40 had thrown something at our DH's at one time or another. The under 40 crowd hadn't unless it was a wedding ring at an ex as they hit the door.

Bonnie-eeks,sorry, I'm rootin for my northeastern girl Helene-she's SOOO playing the game (i think) and that's what makes their scenes together such rip-roaring fun. He likes more than she likes. Heehee.

Well, Jodie said that she was going to bed but I did see her take the really big pillow with her. I hope DH likes feathers over his head!!!! It could get a little smothering in their bedroom. I don't think we should interrupt her tonight.

Michele, the position at school sounds like something that you would like. Obviously, the principal already sees how great you are or she wouldn't want you there. Is this the school that your kids go to? Are the hours the same as they are in school and do you have to work on the days that the kids are off school?

Jay, Jay who? You mean he talks to someone other than Kim? I think he is just using the rest of us. Do you notice how often he tells us how he appreciates being the only male here? He is doing some serious sucking up. What do you think his real intentions are? Do you think he is a spy? Maybe our DH's sent him.........

did you notice that actually both Gwen and Helene live in Philadelphia? Gwen's hometown is Buffalo, but she lives in Philly. I used to live near Woodbury, NJ. About 10-15 miles from Gloucester. I just don't want Brooke to win, she is way too young to be thinking about marriage!

Betty, yes, I think that this is a great move for me. I am really excited and nervous at the same time. I hope that I will be able to tell my boss in a manner that will be uplifting even though my leaving is a downer. I love those kids I have.... Yes, the hours would be 7:45 to 2:30. I would still either have DH or IL drop the kids off, with me picking up. Extended day would be free if I only used it once in a while.

Oh, maybe while we are at it, we can arrange a meet for the ya ya DH's. They seem to have soooo much in common! LOL!

Ohio is Midwest, but don't get too excited, I am definitely NOT a Jersey girl, I hated Jersey and couldn't wait to leave. I gave DH a choice-ask for a transfer or ask for a divorce, cause I was out of there! I had some AWFUL neighbors there. That is not to cast aspersion on all of New Jersey, it just wasn't for me.

What I am is an Eastern Shore of Md girl. Think Ocean City, MD or Assateague Island with the wild ponies, the Chesapeake Bay, fishing, crabbing, boating, etc. That would be me.

I didn't stay at the party long. I just rang the door bell and ran. Of course Pam had to correct me and tell me I ran like the wind instead of running as fast as the speed of light. Who does that Ya Ya think she is? Trying to correct Ya Ya in front of a bunch of party people. I should go back and ...................You know what, it just isn't worth it. I am staying here with my real friends.

Well, I better go check on Jodie. I did see some feathers flying south. And I don't think they were feathers from birds flying south.

I am going into Bonnie's room tonight. The hammock is calling my name. Anyway, she is staying up talking about The Bachelor and she may be in the livingroom for hours. If Marilyn asks tell her I took a nap in her room today. Don't want her to feel left out, but the antler pillows have got to go. Damn antler kept creeping into my ear. And the glow in the dark toilet paper in her bathroom is a little to rough for my delicate skin. Geeze she likes to rough it.
