I have tons of catalogs. This time of year they come 2 or 3 a day. I have started just throwing them out without looking because it is too tempting.....and I do order if I look

Chocolate globs (just realized that they're called globs, not blobs) are delicious!! My aunt used to make them for me all the time. I haven't had any in over 7 years.

They were two round chocolate circles (not quite a cookie, not quite a cake) and this delicious creamy filling (not quite icing, not quite whipped cream). I could sit and eat about a dozen at one crack!! I miss my globs. I've seen versions of them at bakeries and grocery stores, but no one's have come close to my aunt's.

I like M&Ms, especially the peanut ones. I got those for trick-or-treaters, but I ate half the bag. My bad...........

I'm making baked beans for the side dish I need for tonight's hayride and weiner roast for the Church/Youth Group. I only hope that no one ingests too many of the beans and has an "incident" next to the woodfire!! That makes for some mighty big flames!!

Hello, my name is bfeller and I used to be a Ya Ya that posted quite frequently on a thread just like this. WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU ALL DOING TODAY? YOU ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!

It has taken me over 40 minutes to read the pages of moth. I have tried to take notes on what comments I want to make and by 2 pages later the problem is solved and you move on. Got to get some running shoes to keep up with you all.

Karen, good choice about MVMCP. Family should always come first and your kids will only be young once. We, however, are old ladies and will always be here.

For those of you with headaches, I really feel your pain. No, really I feel your pain. You all are pains in the butt. Well, at least one of you has more butt, kicks more butt, or are just more a pain in the butt!!!! You know who you are. I dont' have a headache. In fact I am your worst headache, I mean nightmare. Oh I am having so much fun here. Sorry I turned the bass up on the subwuffer thingy last night, I was pretending to be Kim and had that Olympic theme on and was slip sliding all over the cottage last night. Do you think that this may have caused all the headaches? Seriously, I hope all your headaches go away. Guess you just don't know how to party like the Elder Ya Ya.

Decorating Kim's room. Well, I just got off the phone with Hilde from Trading Spaces and she suggested glueing hay or moss on the walls. I said no because too many of us have allergies. Her color theme suggestion was black walls with lime green Olympic rings and black lights. She did suggest taking up the rug and painting Apolo's face on the subflooring. This way we could all walk on him. I thought that this idea had some possibilities.

I guess I will have to go check out Karen's thread. I really don't want to because I am in a peaceful mood right now. Maybe I will wait until this evening.

Well, got to get a few more things done around here.

Well...... Kim has been doing some major kissing up to me that I almost hate to admit it BUT........ last winter, during the Olympics, when she was posting her "fixation" with Mr. Ono, I also came out and admitted that I thought the little dude was quite handsome as well. I stayed up wayyy past my bedtime on several nights just to see him and Kip skate.

So ------- I don't have the heart to walk on poor Apolo's face, so I must reject the concept of painting his face on the floor. What about a speedskater's locker room theme??

Oh a locker room theme. You won't believe this but I have experience with that. Our high school PTA does an After Prom. Last year I was on the committee that decorated the boy's bathroom. Get your minds out of the gutters!!! The theme was movies and we were "The Titans" The bathroom was a football field and the two stalls were lockers. But guess how we decorated the urinals? Come on, someone guess. Let's see if you can outwit, outsmart the old lady. (just had to get some SURVIVOR lingo in there)

Any ideas???????
