Yup, Jay is our only regular male. Willy made an appearance and so did Zurg and Eros. But that was ages ago.

Beth I am so glad to hear you say that! I keep close watch on my girls too. I usually don't even bother leaving practices because, what if they need me and I like watching my little cuties anyway. This was the FIRST time I ever carpooled. Obviously the last. I was not told the dad was driving. I thought the mom was. Lesson learned and fortunately not too much harm done.

Well, off to get dinner ready and then to the 3rd grade barn dance. See ya'll when I get back. Hey, I'll be ready to square dance if ya'll are tired of polka!

Im sorry Ive been MIA. Things have been so busy and Ive been so tired.

I think the Petite YaYa sickness has hit home. My youngest came home today saying he was sick. Sure enough I felt his head and he is feverish and crying and coughing a bit. He says his legs and head hurt and so do his ears. He shouldnt be having earaches because he has tubes. No drainage though which worries me. We gave him some advil and he has calmed down and is laying quietly on the couch watching Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Looks like dh might be staying home with him tomorrow. Im a little miffed at daycare because the sub teacher was sick the other day and was taking care of the kids. She should have been sent home!

Just a quick note: The meeting started at 2:30 and ended at 5 (I am supposed to get off at 3:30). It looks like most of the issues will be addressed, and my boss wasn't very happy as she was following the VP down to her office after the meeting. She was caught in at least 2 lies DURING the meeting, so the VP saw it first hand.

Also, I am probably getting a raise.

Gotta finish cooking dinner. I'll give you more details later.

Yes, I actually have a bunch of 45s. Lots and lots of em. Still looking for more too. Picked up a bunch at Half Price Books last month. Time to go back & see if their stock has recycled. Eventually, I want to get a jukebox to put them in. Problem is finding a decent jukebox that works & not pay a premium for it. Some people sell them at a high price even if they don't work. Till then, I'll spin them on my turntable. BTW, I have a couple crates of albums too. Yep, the *big* version of the 45. Guess that shows my age a bit. Oh well. But you can rest assured I do *NOT* have an 8-track collection!!!

Hey hey... how's it goin'?! Ok, here's a brief summary of our conference: "Cameron is an amazing and brilliant child that lends a maturity to the class that is a pure delight." Somthing to that effect anyway... how's that for cool. All I can say is, at least one of us in the house is mature. Hmmm... now if I could just get him to cook dinner. His lowest grade was a 94, his highest 109. The one thing that pleased me the most was her praise for him concerning his organization skills and focus. Those have never been his strong suit, but it sounds as though he's finally pulling it together this year. YESSSS!

Ok, 'nuff of that. Jodie, you are such a dear! I've seen no wet blankets around here at all, and although this is terribly cliche, it is SO true... friends are there for each other through good and bad. That's part of what makes this thread and the group of people in it, so special... we've shared silly and we've shared serious and I think we all agree that we all want to be here for one another not just for the smoothies, pictures and silliness, but for the real, the serious, the sad and the mad as well. Kim he is doing a bit better now. His fever is down thanks to Childrens Advil and hes actually eating his dinner. We are going to watch him very closely tonight. If he shows any signs of this tonight or tomorrow he's staying home and going to the doctors. I dont want the poor little man to be sick all weekend or get sicker over the weekend.
