Betty, Zoppini is just a specific brand for Italian Charm bracelets (show up to the Jeffersonville Outlet Mall this Sat and I'll show you mine). The bracelets are about $8 here and the charms are about $15-40 (for the really expensive crystals on it) Most of the ones I buy are about $20. I only have 5 charms right now but I am waiting for Disney charms to come to where I buy mine.

Oh and I would stay up later if my kitties hadn't kept me up the night before... that and waking up at about 5:30 for work is a killer sometimes.

Jodie, I do hope those men that were arrested will lead to the end of all of this. It's about time it is over with.

Awww... I'm blushing again. Being picked for the camping trip so early in the morning. I vote for "camping" a WDW. Like you said, those smores at 50's Prime Time are a lot easier to get than actually making them ourselves!

The sleeping bag/tent/no bathroom/no shower aspect of camping stinks, but I gotta admit a cozy campfire with somebody to cozy with sounds awfully nice. If Betty is stealing Jay, I guess I better go find you know who.

I hate to post and run, but I've dinked around here too long as it is. Gotta finish getting "beautiful" then go throw some food at my kid, then head out for school. Today is parent/teacher conferences/report card. Hopefully I'll have a good report for ya'll.

Ok...back on the track of the cheerleading uniform. THe neighbor mom feels really bad, I tried to play it off, even though I am kind of annoyed that I have to spend more time on this.....but what really disturbs me is the dad DROPPED OFF MY 8 YEAR OLD AT THE CURB!!!!


He didn't even walk them into the building!!!! sigh....from now on when we car pool....I'll be doing ALL the driving.

Sorry about that Betty.... How about this. I found the band and talked with them. They know some polkas and Manilow tunes, so they'll play them. Kim, since they liked Lilo & Stitch, they even learned some Hawaiian tunes so you can hula. I only made one request of them. They have to play my fave polka, "In Heaven there is No Beer." You all know the words, right?

Hi Elaine and Michele!

I spent a couple of hours at ds's school this morning. LOTS of parents hanging around. The kids seem relaxed and handling this ok. Still locked down and I am glad. People here are cautiously optomistic. I will feel better when the ballistic report comes in and an official word is relayed to us instead of all of this media speculation.It does sound good, and I feel sure these guys were involved. I just hope the buck stops with them so to speak. Just the thought that this could all be over makes me giddy though.

Apologies and thoughts:

I need to apologize to all of you wonderful ya ya's for being such a wet blanket the past few days. I know there was fun and games that I stepped right in the middle of just because I was so desperate to vent and for your support. For all the times I didn't address someone's big news or sickness or join in the fun or even say hello...I am very sorry. The fear for my children has overtaken me...it has been impossible to think of anything else. I have never experienced anything like this before...hope I never do again! You do learn from these "life experiences" though don't ya? I have learned that each day is beautiful. I have learned to cherish family and friends. I have learned not to take advantage of the wonderful freedoms we have in this country...and how easy it is for those freedoms to disappear. I have also learned , like I really needed verification of this , that "internet friends" and "real life friends" are one in the same. The incredable love and support that you guys have given to me during this awful time I will never forget. You are an awesome awesome group of dorks who mean the world to me. Thank you.
OK...I have been mothy enough and the wormly quotient is now through the roof! I will now sneat downstairs and get ready for the Cub scout meeting. back later!

Jodie, no need for apologies as far as I am concerned. We all felt your pain. You did not ruin anything for me. Just hope that the day continues with positive news about stopping the sniper.

The band is great. Where did you find such a good band on such a short notice? So the great Yensid has 45's laying around his house. (Elaine these are black flat and round looking things with a big hole in the middle vinyl discs that the mature Ya Ya's used to listen to music on a thing called a record player. She is such a young child. Don't want her to feel left out of the conversation) So, you have Barry Manilow. Oh Yensid this makes you more irresistable.

Kim, Jay is multi dimensional so we can surround him on the camping trip. So when should we leave for WDW to get those S'mores at 50"s Prime Time. Actually I have a Micky Cook Book that has the recipe in it. mental note: find cook book and then don't let Kim have the recipe. Kim your oven doesn't look like it could handle the S'mores.

Jennifer, I know how you feel when someone is suppose to be responsible to get your child there and then they don't even leave the car. Of course, my DH would do something like that. He just doesn't listen.

Did I ever tell you about the time I came home and found a bunch of boys in my house playing Nintendo(remember that game) and my son wasn't there. DH was upstairs taking a nap. Had no idea that DS had left house with some of the kids and the others stayed. New rule was made that day that No one could have friends over if mom wasn't home. Don't know what DH was thinking. Oh yes, I do. It was I am sleepy. Must meet need of the adult. Wish I could say that he got better over the years but he didn't. He was raised in a family of 8. Mom worked and the kids raised themselves. There are times I have three children not just two.

Well, must keep moving.

One of the truck drivers that made the 911 call this morning about the two men that police were looking for in Maryland is from Luclow, Kentucky. He just pulled in his driveway and the local news is interviewing him. He said that the police told him to pull his truck to block the rest area and to stay away from them. Police were there asap. He said there was a hole in the trunk about 4 inches round and they found a gun and scope. One of the men was sleeping and the other was by the restroom. The man has 5 more truck loads to go to Wilmington, Deleware and then he will be retiring. They asked him what he would do if he gets the reward money and he said that he has no idea if he was the first or second trucker to call but if he got the money he would give it to the families of the victims.

Just makes you want to cry. He didn't like being called a hero. He said that he just did what a responsible person should be doing.

Okay, I went back and saw the MIchelle picks, what a gorgeous family and your girls are beautiful!!!

No more Beth bashing because Beth refuses to play with them anymore. I'm just gonna agree with any of them who ever post to anything I post too, if I agree they won't think I'm any fun anymore and move on thank god!

Now, yes I have a "K" and it stands for my last name KIM!!!! well not really but DH wouldn't think it was cool to have a "K" for Kurt on my bracelet I also have a December birthstone on my bracelet because thats my dad's birthstone and Kurt's birthstone too and I have the Olympic Rings becaue I think the Olympics are really cool beacuse Kurt won the Olympic Gold in Wreslting.

Oh and while reading I came across the opossum story, very interesting!! I also came across KITTIE PICS! I love kitties! I have 4 of my own.

So anymore stories that I just have to read? Oh and Survivor tonight I can't wait.

And Jodi I am so glad that they have "hopefully" caught these guys and life can go back to normal. I'm also glad for the kids and Halloween!!

A couple of Saturdays ago his daughters 8 and 4 came over to play, the older girls went to another friends house and about 3 hours later I called over to say I was walking the 4 year old home. He didn't even know she had left their house!!!! For 3 hours!!!!

Michele, if you throw in a visit to WDW on Friday night, I'll drive down and help on Saturday!!!
