I went back to Blondie's thread 3 times last night and still couldn't put words together to express my outrage. Jodie and Bonnie, you stated it well. Sorry I couldn't find the words to back you up more Jodie.

Yeah, what Jennifer said! I read it late last night moments before Willy locked it. As Jennifer stated, I couldn't find the words to express how I felt. Also... when my anger and frustration reach the point they did last night while reading it, I know it's time for me to keep my mouth shut, because once I get started, I tend to get extremely mouthy, and not know when to stop... I find here on the CB, because I know this about myself, I'm better off steering clear of anything that pushes my buttons very much.

Blondie's thread, and the threads that are following it today have me soo bummed. I get so tired of all the drama everyone has to bring up.
Some people are such insensitive jerks.
I couldn't find the right words to say, either. I was sooo angry by the posts it is just as well I couldn't find the right words to say. I probably would have been banned!

I was shocked to hear that the sniper may have hit again this morning. I left here early and didn't get many details.

Sometimes I wonder about what the poster originally intended for a thread. I learned many months ago that if I get the gut feeling that the only reason that the poster posted the thread was just to get an argument going, then I should stay off of it. I got burnt on one and then had people attack me and put words in my mouth that I had not said. I guess some posters just aren't happy unless they can stir the pot a little. Some topics can produce the obvious DISers and their opinions. So why get so upset over their stupidity. I know it is hard but I guess that on the net it is one place that I can ignore ignorance.

What did I do??? I volunteered to coordinate a holiday bazaar this year.....The woman who did it last year just dropped off the instructions.....I have to get a FIRE INSPECTION!!! This is going to be way more than I barganed for. Expect to hear one or two vents on this subject before Dec 7th rolls around.

Oh Jennifer, you wouldn't catch me chairing a holiday bazaar. Hee! Hee! Hee! Actually every year our PTA hosts a craft fair and I always volunteer for selling the raffle tickets. They have every crafter donate one item and then every half hour they raffle off the item. So I walk around and sell tickets and talk to everyone(crafters and people) Tickets are only good for one raffle, so they have to buy another every 30 minutes if they want to participate. They actually sell themselves. People come up to me to buy them. This is my dream of being a salesperson. They have asked me to chair the bake sale there and do other chair type stuff but I would rather be a worker bee. It will be November 9. (always close to my birthday and then I can walk around and show DH and the kids what is absolutely adorable. They take the hints so well)

I have been vice president of PTA and PTO. I have also been the volunteer coordinator at different schools for over 5 years. I feel that I have done my part and now just want the fun not the headache.

There are so many hidden little things when you are chairing a big project like that. But you are young and have plenty of energy!!!!!

Well, the teens are invading, so I must take a break from DISing.

Will check in later. I will be making celebration slushies for Kim's test results. You know we are a bunch of party people if we are toasting Kim on getting a ticket and then doing well on the punishment. Ha! Ha!

I saw that too but I thought I'd imagined it.

I just posted on Elaine's thread...I really didn't read those "hot" threads...I just can't go there before bedtime...I've made that mistake before!
