I hate self check outs. Every time I use them, something won't scan, or the price comes up wrong etc. And is it just me, but isn't that why I am paying the prices that I am?

I just read Elaine's thread. Can someone PM me and let me know what went on last night that I have somehow managed to miss. Was it the thread that Jodie talked about? Of course I do feel at this point that having my head in the clouds may have been the best place to be last night.

I do not have the IMG by my thingy but I will work on that later tonight.

Sorry guys, I was at work when I posted that thread of mine during lunch and I didn't get much chance to check back here until just now. Bonnie, that thread was here this morning, but I went to find it at lunch and it was gone. I think it was deleted as well.

A quick reason why I posted that... I've been on the DIS since fall of '98 (my goodness, have I been here about 4 years now?????) and been hanging on the CB since June '99... the boards have sure changed a lot in that time and in the last year there has been tons of fighting by comparison, so after reading a post (not the one you guys were talking about last night) I wrote what I did and posted it. So those were just my pent up feelings from the last year or so now.

So now since you all are doing Survivor talk, I will shake my head in disgust and check back later

Hi all. I didnt fall off the face of the earth yesterday but I did fall asleep at 8:00 PM. I was so tired.

I got a taste today of what Jodie must be feeling. I went out to the balcony to have a cigarette...yes I know I shouldnt smoke...at work and saw heliocopters flying over near my sons school. Its only down the block from us. I kept watching and they were moving in and out of that area. I called dh who was on his way home for lunch and asked him to check and see what was up. When he got home there were three heliocopters, one right over our house. I went back out to the balcony when someone told me that the schools were on Lock Down. I freaked and called the school who said they were but the man was caught and everything was okay. Apparently there was a shooting in our neighborhood and the school went on lock down immediately. Dh called me right after that and let me know that the shooting was about six blocks away from our house and about five away from the school. I cannot tell you how udderly frightened I was when I heard the school was on lock down. My big fear has been a copy cat. With all the wacks in the world anything is possible.

Oh yes, I watch Survivor but my DH has successfully called me the last three Thursday nights around 8:20 and then I miss everything. I don't know their names yet but hope to see all of it this Thursday and then I can SURVIVE with you all.

I guess I am glad that I missed the thread. It probably would have me upset. So if you don't mind me asking? Did it involve Robinrs? Did our favorite female picture poster do his thing again? Rather than post it here please PM me and give me the jest of what happened. I admit it. I am nosey!

Just got back from the grocery. Got to make dinner.

Orange Juice, Milk, Sausage Links, Center cut bacon, french toast, scrambled eggs, scrambled egg busters(for me), biscuits, and grape jelly.

I will be 5 lbs heavier when I get back.

Hey everybody! Just checking in really quick. Hope all is fine with the Ya YA's! No energy to dis tonight. I am just worn out. Please pray for all the kids in this area tomorrow as they head back to school. After Chief Moose released part of the sniper's letter today, no one has been able to think of anything else around here. It is dreadfully tense and frightening around here. Don't want to inject too much RL into the ya ya fun so I will say goodnight early tonight. Drink a slushie for me.
