The Disney Store is CRAZYYYY!!!

Went to DS at 10:15 this morning (after calling to confirm that they sale had gotten bigger) and it is virtually across the street from my office.
Anyhow, here's a tally of the madness: girls sweaters (1.99!!) sweatshirts ($1.99!) Lots and lots of cute boy things are $1.99 and $2.99!!! The following is 75% off: girls' dresses, jackets, purses, Pop Dreamer rag dolls, Pooh & Friends fleecy plush, toddler princess stuffed dolls, all beach towels, all remaining bathing suits, flip flops, lots of toys, lots of Buzz Lightyear stuff, including the Buzz Christmas trees, etc....it is nuts! I spent $75 and it would've been THREE HUNDRED!! It is an awesome awesome sale...I got a Belle rolling suitcase for $5.75!! whoopee - I was shaking I was having so much fun (I know: Molly, you are pathetic ~ ha) This will make the Novemeber trip lots more fun: lots of souveniers to leave under pillows, etc.!

Went last week and was very happy with the sale, didn't think I needed to go back, but... it looks like a Christmas shopping we will go tonight......Again!

I didn't buy too much, but did get 3 beach towels (75% off), two shirts and a pair of shorts for ds $2.99 each), a new baseball hat for dd (75% off) and 10 magic towels (.62 each) I am saving these for stocking stuffers for my kids and my nephews.

I also prebought Piglets Grand Adventure. It was $20 for DVD, and you got a $10 gift card for a future purchase.

Even with the movie, it was just $50.

I went to the DS yesterday for a boys Bday gift, and ending up getting a bunch of other stuff. I ran back with this stuff after reading your post, and got a price adj of 17! Don't worry, the DS got much more than this back from me when I bought my DD 2 bathing suits, 2 shorts sets, a few t shirts, 3 costumes, a dress, 4 bathing suit coverups, and a princess snowglobe, 2 pkg of panties, and 3 nightgowns, all at 75% off! I thought the boys tshirts were really cute and well worth 3., but they probably wouldn't look good on DD...

I think they are making room for the adult and infant clothing that is supposed to come back to the stores this fall. Thank goodness. IMHO kids clothes that they carry now the kids don't want to wear. They want to wear gap for kids or nike and I can't think of the other stuff. My DS is 19. Anyway, I think that might be why the great deals are out there.

I was in yesterday (and will now have to go in and get an adjustment!!). And, I went today and spent another $81. I came home and added up all of the original prices of today's $81 receipt - $558.49 - OMG!! I can't believe I saved that much!

I'll go tomorrow- and just hope the store near me isn't empty by then. LOL Sounds like stuff is going really cheap and it is JUST LIKE MY LUCK to miss it by one day and the next day have the store be picked completely bare.

I'm sure they have sold a ton of stuff, but there is a lot of stuff at 75%, and it seems each store has a variety of different things. I would think there will be a decent amount of merchandise left over. I would go before Monday, though. I believe I heard that they will have new stuff put out at regular price by then. Have fun!

Well I did go today and this is my finds....

Two bathing suits, two cover ups, three talking princes dolls, 8 magic towels, and a stitch bath rope. And the best part about this is that it was all at 75% off.

The CM never know what the new mark downs are going to be from day to day, and I was told they my be getting new merchandise in on Friday.

So I know I will be going back on Friday to see if they received in any new sale stuff.

I have a big favor to ask some wonderful DIS'er!!!

I bought the Stitch rolling luggage today for approx $9 (75% + DC discount). The problem is that we are taking TWO small children this month to WDW, one boy and one girl. Our store didn't have ANY girl's luggage. I'm sure alot of you who are parents understand about trying to keep it "even" between the two.

I will gladly pay for suitcase and shipping, and send anything you might be needing from WDW when we are there in 23 days!If anyone is going to their TDS and is willing to pick up any girl's suitcase (any princess or minnie mouse), please please please o pretty please PM or email me (tarralee@yahoo.com).

I was there last night and this sale is phenomenal! For once they had a bunch of cute stuff for boys--I got my 2.5 year old a bunch of t-shirts from the "Adventurers" line for $2.99 apiece. I also found boys underwear 75% off (perfect timing for potty training). There was lots of little things dirt cheap (small tins of candy, magic towels, antenna toppers)--perfect little items to tuck away for future Disney trips.

There's just too much to list, so instead here's what wasn't 75% off at my store: Finding Nemo merchandise, most books, videos/DVD's, most plush, and summer PJ's (those were 50% off).

I walked out with a huge bag full for $49. This is the best sale I've ever seen them have. Go now!!!

Alas, I got the last princess suitcase on wheels, however, our store is going "great guns"...

The CM I usually talk to there told me that ours is also being closed for renovation in about 6 weeks, and that is why things are so crazy -- they're going to reopen with a lot of new, different merchandise according to her...I guess that DOES mean more adult and infant stuff, according to these boards.

All I can say, is it's working out for me!

Thanks for the info. Mollybelle. My store here in Alabama is having the same type of sale, so I rushed out at lunch and here are my finds:

2 childern's lounge chairs
2 beautiful beach towel(3 princess)
2 pair (water?) boots
1 pair princess sandals
1 raincoat( tarzan)
1 princess caslte
4 boys (sz 4/5) button-up embroided shirts

Total : $49.82!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm in heaven, but I think I need to go back, I forgot to shop for a few birthday presents for some other family members.

I would not wait until the last minute to go shop. My store had an unusal amount of toys and cothes for boys; )
